This is a lovely laid back hotel with great views over the bay. Staff are very helpful, the breakfasts have a good mix to suit everyone The room was a good size and clean, although not quite pool view as advertised. The beach is only a short walk away, albeit down and up steep steps.

We were lucky to stay at the beginning of the week, which was nice and quiet, but by Thursday the after party Club bar next door was playing hardcore trance whilst we were trying to relax and eat breakfast and you could hear it through the night in our room.. Luckily we left that day, otherwise our holiday would have been rubbish. I would only come to this area if you want bars and clubs.

Good location with the beach downstairs. Very friendly and helpfull staff, I needed to see a doctor 2 times and they arranged their driver to take us and asked me every day if I was feeling better. They warned us the party season had started so the music could be louder in the weekend and provided us a room further away from it.

Small minus regarding the bathroom, you have to shower in the bath and it was leaking a bit and the wash basin looked nice but was a bit impractical because there was not much space around it to put your toiletries.

Direct access to the beach, nice pool, lots of nice possibilities to just sit and relax. Very friendly staff. Affordable ad delicious food.

The music from the neighboring bar IS loud. On weekdays the volumes is bearable and the music stops at 1 am. On Friday and Saturday though it definitely prevents you from sleeping and blasts well until 3 am. As Alcove Resorts was very transparent about this I will not consider this for the overall rating. A proper coffee machine for breakfast would have been nice and the Foosball table was quite broken, but these are really minor remarks and probably pretty much irrelevant to the majority of guests.

Our room was spacious enough for 2 people and was very clean. The resort has great restaurants nearby and also the beach is a min away from the resort. The food served at the resort was also delicious specially the fish curry.

Music from nearby restaurants can be heard all through the night.

A beautiful property with spacious rooms and delicious food from the restaurant. The views from the bar/terrace were incredible as it sits just a 2min descent from lower Vagator Beach. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The pool was great, with plenty of room for relaxing alongside.

The only thing we did not enjoy about our stay, and the only thing stopping us from extending our stay for yet another night, was the neighbouring property. It is mentioned on the website that there may be noise, but we did not expect our walls to be literally shaking from the volume of techno music coming from the so-called "restaurant" next door, most nights, until 6am! It should be noted though that the staff, most notably Somnath, were accommodating of us and let us sleep in an empty room on the opposite side of the property on our last night which was very kind.

Cosy resort with cliff side sea view of vagator beach. Outstanding service and food. Rooms were regular box shaped nothing exceptional but clean and all amenities in top working condition.

Gear up for all night baseline beats from the neighbouring 9 Bar, after party begins at 5am so don't expect a quite night of sleep but perfect if you're a nocturnal not looking to catch up on some shut eye. But it's not too bad one gets used to it.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We booked a Wooden Chalet and it was very comfortable. The room was clean. Easy access to the beach, however you do need to climb up and down steps. The breakfast was delicious too with several options. The restaurant on site also had a great selection of food and drink items.

This is nothing to do with the resort itself but the nearby club played really loud bass music ALL NIGHT LONG. So unfortunately if you're looking for a peaceful break this area might not be it.

My room was tucked around the back of hotel and was huge and comfy. Views over beach from restaurant were stunning and food was excellent. A good stone staircase down to beach. Cocktails were delicious and top class. Staff were really kind and helpful.

Pool was a bit on the small side but that wasn’t an issue for me. Coffee wasn’t to my personal taste but I can be a bit fussy about coffee as I like a good strong filter coffee.

The property is easily accessible. They have ample parking with a dedicated valet. The staff was very attentive and courteous. The pool was sparkling clean (they clean it twice a day). The rooms were spacious and well kept. The entire property was pristine. The dining area overlooks the beach with the breeze blowing from the sea. The buffet had a decent spread.I enjoyed playing 8 ball pool and Joe from the reception gave me company. I used their spa too which was good. Overall I enjoyed my time at Alcove with my family.

Wifi connectivity was not as expected.

I liked everything thing . Be it location, room space, swimming pool, service n quality of food.
