Location is great beautiful spot my second time at this hotel and for some of my party it was their third visit.

Evening meal which I had on my pervious visit was terrible. Service was very poor and these two staff members seemed totally disinterested. Food was not hot and wrong orders were delivered to the table we didn't ask to change at that stage as it wasn't worth the effort and we were unsure we get the correct order on second attempt. On paying we informed the reception and she did make a discount but didn't seem to concerned about our feedback either.

the restaurant is expensive for quite average food (you eat better next door if you like traditional seafood), also a pity that the tables on terrace are behind glass (probably makes sense outside summer, but a pity in summer)

Central heating was not very warm and air conditioning wasn't working. The reception gave me a small heater which helped and offered for me to change rooms which I declined because I was very tired after a long and very cold day on the Camino del Norte.

The location is stunning. I'm on the cemetery side of 65. My wife and I have traveled extensively throughout the world. This is by far the best beach location we have ever stayed in. When you arrive into your sea view room the view from the window is jaw-dropping. When we arrived in late afternoon after we unpacked our bags we went for a walk on the beach. The tide was in and we had a lovely walk along the seashore. The next morning after a lovely breakfast we went back out to the beach only to discover that the tide had gone out, way out. The tide having been out exposed a whole new Jurassic World. The walk provided array of caves and rocks for exploration. (See photo attached) On another note somebody should provide a Service offering beach furniture. We traveled from Dublin Ireland in our own electric car. This Hotel provided a very good electric vehicle charging station. Which offered up to 11 kW charging facility, which I slowed down to 2 kw as I was parked for a long time each day and allowed the car to trickle charge overnight. The reception staff we're very helpful in providing suggestions for places to drive to every day.

The restaurant staff have a few idiosyncrasies ie you can only eat the a la carte menu on the terrace not the set menu. Menus are dropped on the table not handed to individuals. Set menu is in Spanish and English but the a la carte menu is in Spanish only and the staff can not translate it. The waiting staff should develop a skill of being able to see when a customer would like to order another drink or something else. Basically the restaurant staff come across as being rude, which may be as a result of a language barrier, regardless a smile every now and then would not go amiss.

Just a wonderful stay at Hotel Mirador de la Franca. Gorgeous location, friendly staff, comfortable lounge and room and good food. I felt so well taken care of and like my stay was a real treat! Amazing value for money.

Beautiful location, the beach was awesome. The hotel was clean, comfortable and characterful, with free EV charging as well! Easy access from Santander, and easy to get to Potes to get to the Picos de Europa.

Excellent location right on the beach, very pretty building and peaceful lovely gardens. Plenty of parking. Super value Menu, that we partook of each evening, plenty of choice and adequate portions. Will definitely visit again.

I wonder if in the high season the peaceful atmosphere would still prevail. Rather a large camping site right next door therefore there would probably be a lot of traffic, comings and goings. However early or late season it is perfect.

Gorgeous hotel in a beautiful location right on the lovely Playa de la Franca. Room had view of the beach and good shower, hairdryer etc. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room but that didn’t matter as you could get a nice drink in the bar. Restaurant meal was good and reasonable value and breakfast was excellent. They gave us beach towels for the beach. It was easy to find off the Camino and easy to get back on to the Camino way.

Absolutely everything. Fabulous location and views. Very nice, helpful staff. Comfortable room with great outside balcony. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Excellent parking and electric charging.

The location on the beach was perfect. This hotel had a restaurant and that was a good. Especially the breakfast was a pleasure, because there was a selection of gluten free product, fresh orange jus and fruits.

The main dish as part of the standard lunch was not so good. Better to eat à la carte.
