Meet & Greet by Stavros on the golf buggie to collect the luggage, room was great, dining at main restaurant, breakfast and tavern were excellent. Marieta at the pool was very attentive to all guests.

On arrival at reception not a warm & welcoming greeting, Too many cats around the property particularly around all food & beverage areas including around the pool. The breakfast room needs a proper toaster to accommodate for the selection of different breads, the 2 slice toaster was difficult to use other than standard sandwich slice.

The hotel property, that is a meticulously restored historic mansion, is absolutely stunning! We stayed in a villa with a private pool, with views of the sea and the surrounding gardens, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees. The words cannot describe the beauty of this place! We enjoyed seeing the many animals that live on the property and are lovingly taken care of. The friendly and always accommodating staff went out of their way to fulfill our every wish, especially Lazaros, who arranged our accommodation. We loved the fresh and healthy Mediterranean cuisine with emphasis on the produce grown in the hotel’s gardens. The freshly squeezed orange juice and the Kinsterna house wines were amazing. The daily baked fresh crusty bread that came with our Greek salad was the best we ever had! Cannot wait to come back!

The property is not easy to reach, but it is so worth the trip! There is so much to explore and enjoy, we wished we had more time there.

Unique setting, very serene, architecture/design true to the area and the history of the mansion. We really enjoyed the pool - great adult pool with a bar was just perfect for winding down. Really appreciated the fact that bottled water was not charged throughout our stay. This includes the minibar and the pool.

Breakfast was subpar for a 5* hotel - the variety was exceptionally limited. Though they have a fitness center, it is really a sad one. Dark & crammed tucked away in a small room - feels this was more to 'tick the box'. The hotel does not have any concierge service, or anyone trained to help with ideas related to trips/things to do in the area, bookings, etc. This was a disappointment as we did rely on it. They do have an Activity Manager - but her responsibilities are limited to activities on the property only.

A Truly Special Stay at Kinsterna Hotel Our stay at Kinsterna Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this is a place built with love, care, and incredible attention to detail. Every corner of the property reflects the passion and vision of the owner — it feels both deeply authentic and wonderfully refined. The setting is stunning, blending history, nature, and comfort in a way that’s truly unique. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay, whether relaxing on the grounds or exploring the nearby area. The dining experience was also a highlight. Both restaurants were well priced and offered outstanding food — fresh produce grown on the farm, and beautifully presented. It’s rare to find a hotel where everything feels this thoughtfully curated. We’ll absolutely be returning and wholeheartedly recommend Kinsterna to anyone looking for a memorable, heartfelt escape.

The location is beautiful and the swimming pools were lovely. The breakfast was outstanding! Such a great array of produce and variety of savoury and sweet. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff very nice too.

The evening dinners were a bit disappointing. Food tasted delicious but considering they pride themselves on fresh garden produce (which is served at breakfast) there wasn’t much served in the evenings, why not serve a lovely dish of home grown veg! I had to ask for some but all they did was add on a few courgettes into our dinner! Portions very small too for the price! Trying to be too nouveau cuisine! Also staff were lacking when we had dinner in the regular restaurant as I think they were all on hand for the tasting menu in another area, we had very slow service! One other thing we had room 21 near the lily pond and the nocturnal frogs (we think) were very noisy! I didn’t get much sleep as I’m a light sleeper!

I had seen the details of this hotel some time ago. We travelled from Thessaloniki to stay for three days. This is an amazing hotel with views of Monemvasia in the distance. The estate produces fresh vegetables for the kitchen and you see this on the menu. The hotel has plentiful activities: making bread, horseriding, discovering the sandy beaches nearby, getting to know all the plants and flowers, walking the estate. There are two magnificent swimming pools. The staff is beyond praise. Equally the rooms. You could have a holiday here doing nothing except the many facilities of the hotel or you could spend more than a week discovering Laconia all within easy drive from the hotel. The hotel has its own wine which is excellent

The restored buildings and the interior design felt very authentic & in keeping with the location. Beautiful in every sense which created an environment for a relaxing time at the hotel, you really didn’t want to leave & go anywhere else.

Everything was excellent, only slight downfall was the lack of poolside service. Staff could be more attentive about bringing you food menu or offering drinks. Had to go to the bar to get any service which for a hotel of this class would have expected better.

The buildings are all very beautiful and the entire resort is gorgeous.

The location is very remote so I would only recommend this place for people who are not active and want to stay in this place and relax. The pools are beautiful but just to relax and not really swim for exercise. The room we received was very tiny compared to all the other luxury hotels we stayed in the region during our vacation. The bar menu was limited and not very local - I would expect that for someone coming to Greece would want to have more local options when sitting by the pool. The Monemvasia castle is about 15 min drive but not so easy at night. And if you are in this region, it’s totally worth spending time in the castle. However, for someone who wants to just go and relax without seeing much in the area or spending lots of time at beautiful beaches, this is a great place.

THE most amazing place on our 3 week trip to Greece! It exceeded my expectations and those expectations were already high. Everything was wonderful. Amazing staff, the most delicious breakfast in Peloponnesos, lovely & comfortable villa, beds, linens & towels. The grounds themselves were enchanting. We just walked around the lovely property. The resort pools and bar were very nice. Yes, I even bought a Kinsterna hat (from the reception) which I wear proudly! We loved Kinsterna!!

My partner and I had an incredible 4-night stay at Kinsterna Hotel. The serene atmosphere, surrounded by lush nature and stunning beauty, made it a perfect getaway. Every detail of the hotel exudes luxury, from the beautifully designed rooms to the immaculate grounds. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering impeccable service with genuine warmth. It was a truly rejuvenating experience, and we recommend it to everyone!
