Derna and her staff is really accommodating. They clean the apartment everyday and provided beach towel. They let us checked in early, arranged our island tour & taxi to the ferry terminal. They even upgraded our room when the other hotel was making too much noise. Derna is so friendly and knows the island very well. She also gave us tips on where to eat, island transpo and a lot more. Complete kitchen utensils. Highly recommended!!!

They don’t reply often tru booking.com messages. AC broke down on our last night, good thing weather was not that hot during our stay. Shower curtain should be installed as it keeps our toilet floor wet after shower.

The entire stay was extremely pleasant and relaxed due to the lovely atmosphere, well-maintained and homely. Our hosts were very kind, generous with their time, accommodating of our last minute changes, and really took the time to made us feel welcome, safe and at-home!

My main request would be to please make your road sign less discrete, it took us a few misses to find, just clear, larger text in a bright colour would really help! Some of the rooms could have a few basic amenities improved upon, like more hooks to hang things behind doors and maybe a speaker for music! But overall, I loved the low-key feel as it allows one to disconnect and really focus on enjoying being in such an amazingly unique part of the world.

We had such a lovely stay. Our room was huge, we had a fully stuffed kitchen a living room, a balcony, etc. The breakfast was so nicely done and just perfect. You get served the breakfast, consisting of a huge plate of fruits, toast, marmelade, butter and eggs. Of course there is coffee, tea and juice as well. My personal highlight is the garden, you have the feeling you life directly in a small djungel, with banana and other fruit trees. The staff was super nice, they brought us drinking cocounuts and also helped with arranging a trip to currieuse. The location was perfect for us, a few minutes walk and you are directly at the beach. You are also very close to some nice restaurants and take aways.

That we had to leave after 4 nights, I wish we would have stayed longer :)

The staff was very warm and welcoming. The room was huge! Actually there was multible rooms. Loved that there was a microwave and tablewear, made evening snack eating nice and easy. Balcony was great too. The apartment was very light. Everything worked nicely. There was a short walk to the most beautiful, long and uncrowded beach that we have visited in Seychells. There was also a walking distance (3,5 km) to tortoise sanctuary that was free. Also there was nice hike to the mountains that started right near the hotel.

Only thing that we regret, is that we didn't stay there longer. The place and surroundings was so good, that we would have enjoyed staying there for four nights.

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay here! Dana takes great care of her guests and offers helpful tips for exploring the area. If you’re staying in room number 3, make sure to befriend Sunset—the charming little bird. Bring some bread, and he’ll happily eat from your hand and keep you company throughout the day. Some areas felt a bit outdated, and the garden could use better lighting at night—it was quite dark walking around after sunset.

Derna, Justin and the entire team are great hosts. Very friendly and kind people as well as always available. Derna is one of the most kind, humble and positive persons we ever met. Additionally, she was a great support by arranging trips. The location is beautiful, located in an amazing green garden. The room was quite large, very clean and from the terrace we had an excellent view to the garden. The breakfast was very good, again with a perfect view to the garden. To the beach it is just a short walk, and the bus station is in front of the house. We had great time in Praslin.

Appartment is spacious and very clean. Location is perfect. Minimum amount of kitchen stuff but enough to be able to cook for 2. Virginie was really helpful throughout our stay, always available and helped us for booking activities. Also as our ferry was a bit later they let us do a late check out. The garden is so beautiful and well taken care of.

The shower would need a curtain to avoid flooding the bathroom

Perfect location, really near the beach with the prívate access by the hotel next to villa rafia. Lots of good restaurants next to the hotel with all range of price from good takeaway (Leo's food) to gastronomic plates. The staff of villa rafia is adorable, always available and full of attention for the clients I really want to thank the team for the kindness and the moment we passed there. I definitely recommend this adress

One of the friendliest hosts we had, helpful with everything and very kind. Nice location with all essential things nearby. We had everything we needed. We had to do some work and the internet connection handled long calls with screen sharing very well. For breakfast we enjoyed fresh fruits, eggs, coffee/tea and juice. The apartment with a garden view was spacious and comfortable. We had a lovely stay.

The heart of the Seychelles lies in the privately owned guest houses and Villa Rafia is right in the middle of it. It is a peaceful place with the nicest people. Darna and Babu were just amazing and helped whenever any kind of questions came up. The garden is beautiful and breakfast fruits are from there own garden. And the beach where I could walk for hours is just around the corner.
