The family is top notch, they are attentive, charismatic and Mukesh's wife cooks very well!! If you need help Mukesh is always available!! The residence is close to many shops, close to the train station too!! My room was great!! everything was simple, not luxurious, but it was perfect!! Air conditioning worked very well, there was never a lack of water, if you want hot water just ask the Host, he brings it in a very large bucket and the water is really hot!! I intend to return to India and I will definitely stay with this family!!

I liked everything...

The thing I like the most about this Homestay is the owner. He is such a great guy: we arrived very late at night since our train delayed and he was very kind to us explaining all the things we could visit in the area (without selling any tour or similar). Also, in the morning he offered us the breakfast with his family and he helped us taking the rickshaw to visit Bodhgaya (when you will go in India you will see that prices vary a lot if you are indian or foreigner for almost everything). Furthermore, since we left late in the evening, he was so kind to let us stay after the check out, without asking anything in return. Also the value for money is great.

Keeping in mind that the room is cheap, it's worth noticing that the location in not amazing (but probably you're staying in Gaya to visit Bodhgaya so that doesn't impact too much). The room is okayish, the decor is dubious, the bed is not too confortable and the street can be noisy in the morning. Also cleaning should be improved, but everything works just fine.

Mukesh Bhai was very helpful and friendly. He gave such valuable advice that my trip costed much lesser than expected. He and his cute son were also good company. Close to railway station and eateries. Bathroom and dorm were pretty clean.

Noise from the street as this was right on Gaya main road. Difficult to spot it unless guided properly.

A homey place like staying at home. They allowed us to use the gas stove for boiling water for drink Shivam and the owner Dii both are very good and helpingin nature

Just the place that is little bit away from bodh gaya.. As we are coming to visit bodh gaya. And we are missing the room heater but now they will provide a heater... And the guiser Breakfast is also good

Very kind host couple. Very close to railway station n has a regular shared e rickshaw's going to bodh gaya right outside the gate of the hostel. The owners are very nice polite and helpful and his vision is amazing to see his business grow. All the best

Cheap, clean, friendly staff, fan, no mosquitoes.

It's a bit noisy the street until late night. Also, it's about 40 minutes on foot from the Gaya junction train station. But well, it's me that I rarely use rickshaws. I stayed at the hostel for a night only, so I basically reached it and left from it on foot and carrying the backpack.

Very beautiful experience, met very good owner and his family. They are very supportive and kind. They have a good knowledge about culture as well as Buddhism related meditation. Must visit this place if you're curious about many things and open minded to connect with new people...

Great place in the middle of Gaya, everything is near by. Owner is so helpful. I was in private room with bathroom and it is a decent size with relative big bathroom. It was clean. The best part is atmosphere - nomen est omen and this accommodation is really relaxed. And the rooftop - just the place for chilling.

There is price when you are in the middle of town - outside noise. Not much owner can do about it but in case you need some sleep...
