Maya Heritage hotel is a very modern hotel in Bodh Gaya. We felt at home in the hotel. The room is sizable and comfortable. The best part is we can see the tower of the Mahabodhi Temple from our window. All the major attractions are within walking distance. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped us arranged the airport pickup and drop-off and they also found a driver to take us to Nalanda and Rajgir. We enjoyed very much our stay.

I wish I knew about the electronic mosquito repellent device the hotel offered for each room sooner. Make sure you use that at night. It will save you the mosquito bites. We didn't know about that for our first night and were really bothered by the mosquito. The front desk staff taught us how to use it second day and we were not bothered by mosquito any more.

Very convenient location (near to Mahabodhi temple). The rooms were clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed the food at Nirvana cafe. Grateful that the staff allowed me to do an early check in and overall enjoyed my stay there

Wifi was unstable and the room could have better soundproofing. I booked an airport taxi with the hotel but did not have a good experience with that driver. The trip was agreed to be 800 inr but when I paid 1000 inr (expecting a change), the driver claimed that he did not bring enough money with him and took off with the full 1000 inr instead.

The overall impression of the hotel is very good. Helpful staff. The breakfast was very good. We ate at the restaurant every evening : the food was lovely. The staff gave very good suggestions about the dishes. The Mahabodhi Temple complex is at a walking distance - 15 min.

Thank you to all the staff at Maya Heritage for making my stay so comfortable! I arrived directly from England and immediately the staff made me feel like I was at home, they were always asking if I needed anything at all. I really enjoyed my mornings having breakfast and visiting the Bodhi Tree during the day - which is just a short walk away. My room was always kept very clean and I had a nice view of the temple next door. I did write down the names of all the staff who I wanted to thank but I lost the paper they were written on!! So I send my heartfelt thanks to all those staff who put in extra effort to make me feel welcome 🙏

I would like to see the hotel employ some female staff where possible, and consider sending a female taxi driver to pick up solo travellers if requested: the hotel taxi transfer service was very important for me on my arrival, but my pick up driver implied he didn’t know where he was going and stopped the car to take a selfie with me, it was not professional. However, I did mention this to the reception staff and they made sure I had a trusted driver for my return journey.

The room and the bed were very comfortable and very quiet. Perfect to recharge your batteries away from the chaos. The staff is very friendly and helpful

Straight 100 is this hotel had a proper coffee machine, even a small nespresso would do it. Regrettably I was served what probably was an instant coffee.

I liked almost everything. However, there is still room for improvement. People at the reception always tried to help. I asked if I could check out one hour later because of my flight after 3 p.m. and they were very accommodating.

The lock of my room (201) that seemed to not work properly and found the door open a couple of times while I was inside. It should be fixed. I told the cleaners upstairs but forgot to tell about it at the reception desk.

Clean, well maintained property. Staff is cooperative. Food is good.

1) We need to wait for items for breakfast. .2) Can add more items to buffet like idly, dosa or utappam etc. 3) Health faucet gun is due for replacement 4) Mixer taps in bath and wash basin, hot and cold water indications are reversed. 5) Present Drinking water bottles are small. They can be 1 litre each.

The hotel is located in a very good area. It can be reached anywhere within a maximum of 10 minutes on foot. The room is large and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The reception in particular tries everything to satisfied the guest. Breakfast selection is plentiful and very Indian. And the price is simply unbeatable.

Great central location for walking to Mahabodhi Temple, good restaurant, breakfast and meals, quiet, nice views, friendly staff.

I was surprised there was not room service but it didn't worry me - extra water would get left outside the door.

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, particularly Pratma, who advised and assisted me with purchasing a SIM card. He accompanied me to the stall and back to the hotel. He also served the food at the side restaurant (food was fantastic in the restaurant) he was absolutely brilliant, the breakfast was great too and he made us all feel very welcome and made our stay more worthwhile. Thank you Pratma!!

The taxi service I had pre-arranged with the hotel to collect us from the airport was horrendous, the driver was a maniac. He kept answering his phone whilst driving with 4 passengers in the car. I asked him several times not to answer his phone whilst driving but he ignored me. Do not order their taxi service if you want to get to your destination on one piece. I was in a bit if a mood by the time i got to the hotel!!
