I had the pleasure of staying at the Malaga Hotel over the weekend, and I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and hassle-free. The room was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I also really appreciated the little touches – from the fresh linens to the complimentary refreshments. The hotel’s location is fantastic, with easy access to the highway (N4) , yet still peaceful and relaxing. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a base to explore the area, Malaga Hotel is a perfect choice. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Great views as well. The staff were friendly and efficient, from Refilwe who assisted from the booking until we checked out, to Fufu in the restaurant and the bar including the cleaning staff.

The little downside is that it's remote; if you're traveling with kids and you urgently need shops you have to travel more than 30 kilometers because the nearby towns don't have much variety.

The Hotel is well kept. There location is good for relaxing and having fun. For entertainment we rented mountain bikes and Padel rackets. There were so much fun. The Hotel organized a picnic for us, what i describe as a special moment at the waterfall. This was the highlight of our celebration weekend.

We have been going to Malaga Hotel as a couple for 24 years, it was always run down, but the food and staff were great. To our surprise the hotel has changed owners and wow the new owner is really making a huge difference. The room we stayed in was revamped and modern.Ibelieve there are many more great changes to come. I am looking forward to see the changes. Malaga is a very beautiful place, peaceful, clean, tidy, friendly staff, food was delicious 😋. Nice place to be one with nature. They also have a lovely pool to cool off in. They are also building paddle ball courts. I highly recommend Malaga. We booked one night and enjoyed it so much we decided to stay one more night. Highly recommend.

umm our room had some police belongings and the other neighbors woke us up early because of the noise they were making and the pool lights other than that thank you we had an amazing experience

The hotel has an old-fashioned vibe which I enjoyed. The grounds are pretty and well kept. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The meal in the restaurant was on the whole very good: my steak was well cooked and the onion rings and salad were tasty. The gnocchi which my companion enjoyed were good: they were not stodgy and had a pleasant taste and texture. One very minor gripe was that the gnocchi sauce was very salty.

This hotel is superb! I love how conveniently located it is next to the N4 highway; after checking out, the highway was less than 30 seconds away. I also love the fact that the property is well managed, and that everything that needs to be communicated, is done so with efficiency and ease.

After flushing, my toilet would make a noise that would stay on for a while.

The service was excellent and rooms were super clean. The buffet is a value for money, keep it up!

The 2-in-1 shower situation is a bit of an issue because water easily spills down leaving the bathroom quite messy. Overall, the bathroom might need a little maintenance just to match the standard of the entire room. Also the Wi-Fi wasn't working throughout our entire stay so was a bit of an inconvenience considering how remote the place is however the cellphone network coverage is still good.

Restaurant was fantastic . The staff were super friendly and just went out of their way to make our one night as memorable as can be.

We had no plugs working and zero water. To be fair we were offered another room last night because of the electricity issues. We were moved this morning so that we could shower

I appreciated the courtesy the receptionist engaged with me as there was confusion with rooms. He managed to solve the matter as I was also cooperating. His problem solving skills were applied accordingly. The staff were very friendly and helpful to guests.

I would recommend that next Christmas lunch to have 2 puddings, Instead of 1
