An excellent choice for staying in Jaisalmer! The rooftop is as photographed, spacious, bright with great views of Jaisalmer Fort. The staff are very approachable, attentive and friendly. They always greeted us when we were heading out for the day, gave us suggestions and answered all of our questions. Refillable drinking water is available by reception at all times, great for reducing plastic consumption! We really liked our room, it was bright and spacious, the window seat was comfy too! If we are back in Jaisalmer, we would absolutely stay here again! They received us in the early hours of the morning after our train was delayed without hesitation, I think they are used to this but it was still very much appreciated! We also walked to and from the train station to the hostel no problems.

WiFi can be patchy in the room

You might probably find other accomodation in Jaisalmer that has rooms as clean and well equipped (modern AC and proper blanket, good pillows) but what was especially outstanding is the hospitality of management and staff. They welcome you with such great kindness you feel like you're part of the gang (it's all young people working there so you can have great fun with them). They help you with all kinds of questions you might have about your trip. I also recommend booking the overnight desert safari with the hostel. It was a really great experience and the family who runs the desert camp is so sweet.

Dorm with four beds. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Rooftop lounge was very nice and relaxing. I didn't not try the food. Desert stay for one night. Ride to the desert was cool. Didn't go to a remote part of the desert, but when we got to the dunes it was great. Slept outside under the stars. Dinner was very good and the music/dancing was very lively.

First hour of the camel safari was underwhelming. Didn't know what was going on, then they tried to sell us a jeep safari. First part of the camel safari there was trash everywhere, but when we went farther the desert was very nice.

The location is in walking distance to Jaisalmer Fort. They organise camel safari/ overnight stargazing camping in the desert area, which seemed to me to be the farthest from all the other tourist camp (which is good!). It was the off-season, and some activities were scrapped off of the itinerary (eg, bonfire). However, the entire experience was awesome: riding camels and sleeping in the open space to watch the night sky. The staff communicates in good English and is generally friendly and hospitable.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hostel crowd and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel's location was perfect, within walking distance to many popular attractions and restaurants. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was modern and well-maintained. We also appreciated the hotel's amenities, including the restaurant. What really impressed us, however, was the hotel's attention to detail and commitment to customer service. From the welcome drink to the turndown service, every aspect of our stay was thoughtful and well-executed. And we booked a camel🐪 safari, they took care of everything in detail from welcome drink,food to cultural activity. I would highly recommend the Hostel crowd to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay. We can't wait to return!

Desert Safari

I had a wonderful stay at jaisalmer hostel crowd ✨✨ The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help. The hostel itself has a fantastic atmosphere, and the view of the fort is just stunning. One of the highlights of my trip was the Desert Safari they organized. It was an unforgettable experience-riding camels, watching the sunset over the dunes, and spending the night under the stars. The team made sure everything was well-arranged, and I really enjoyed talking with them. Their hospitality made the adventure even more special!

I had an amazing stay at Hostel Crowd! the staff went out of their way to ensure I had a great experience. My room was spotless and comfortable, making my time there very enjoyable.they even adjusted my checkout time according to my train schedule Rizwan, in particular, stood out for his friendliness and willingness to help. He made sure I had coffee at night while I was working night shifts, even though the kitchen closed at 11—such a thoughtful touch! The rooftop terrace was a highlight, where I could unwind with delicious food and coffee while taking in stunning sunsets. I also joined their desert tour, which included a memorable camel ride and sleeping under the stars—a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Hostel Crowd to anyone visiting Jaisalmer!

Firstly, everyone here is incredibly helpful, friendly, and approachable. They have even assisted me with the purpose of my visit, providing directions and making arrangements, which made my stay even more convenient. The place has a welcoming ambiance and comfortable accommodations, all at affordable rates. The food here is excellent, adding to the overall experience. The highlight, however, is undoubtedly their safari—the camel ride and the mesmerizing night sky make it truly unforgettable visiting Jaisalmer!

Cosy place with good forniture and deco. The room (double bed for 1 person) was very beautiful and spacious and (most important thing!) bedroom and bathroom were super clean. The cleanest room I’ve had in India. Safe place in a good position, outside the Fort, just 7 minutes walk. They work with the Hotel just in front of the hostel and you can order food and have dinner on the rooftop. Safe and comfortable solution for a woman travelling solo ;) Staff is amazing and it’s easy to meet others solo travellers. Nice rooftop with nice view of the Fort. I didn’t do the safari tour. I cannot say anything about it. I booked the private room because of very good Genius and Hostel offers. If it wasn’t for these offers I wouldn’t have booked a single room because it’s expensive.

I stayed at Hostel Crowd in Jaisalmer for two days, and it was a great experience. The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome right away. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas were nice for relaxing and meeting other travelers. The location was convenient, close to Jaisalmer Fort and other sights. The rooftop views were a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a great place to stay, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.
