Really lovely hotel. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace so we are outside as it was very warm. The food is excellent, with a good choice of a La crate or some fixed price set menus. We had the “gourmet” menu and it was absolutely delicious. We had never tried for tree ice cream but it was a great palette cleanser and the coffee sabayon dessert was superb. Breakfast was excellent, with a range of options and plenty of choice.

The only downside was that we didn’t have time to use the pool because it looked very inviting but our arrival time didn’t allow it this time

The hotel was easy to find and had good parking. It is a charming property with a thatched roof. We had a lovely welcome from the proprietor and booking in was easy. The bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. We had a fabulous evening meal, served by excellent attentive staff. Breakfast was also excellent with a really good choice of fresh pastries and lots of other delicious things. I highly recommend this hotel, I will certainly return on my next trip. A wonderful experience.

Lovely hosts and great swimming pool. Stopped overnight on the way to south of france with kids (3 &5). Brilliant location and such a luxury to have a swim after long drive. The restaurant is exceptional and good value for the quality of food.

Idea stop over from Calais to Italy…..good parking……nice restaurant a little expensive…..very good breakfast…..very attentive staff

I have 3 very small dogs (little bit bigger than a chihuahua) not weighing any more than 7kg which less than one medium size dog and still get charged per dog………this will stop me staying here again.

Very welcoming staff, location is currently renovating, would look forward to coming back when renovations are complete. Restaurant food was excellent

The restaurant and bar is superb. Our rooms were in the older part which is being renovated, the renovated rooms are excellent. Staff and food was superb. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful building with a thatched roof, gorgeous outdoor pool and a restaurant that serves dinner on a beautiful terrace that’s dog friendly. Staff were easy going and welcoming plus there’s lots of free parking

Room and bed were okay. Breakfast was exceptional. Reasonable price. Place is very restfull and calm. Staff is very helpfull and friendly, atmosphere was nice.

We hoped to find some more places around for dinner, but could not find this in the surrounding. So we used the restaurant in the hotel which was a little disappointing with little choice.

Great peaceful location on route back to Calais with restaurant on site too.

Building work going on would have liked to have been warned beforehand.

perfect location for a short stay while coming from northern Europe and heading to the South. good value for money with a very friendly staff and excellent food.

a refurbishment is scheduled for the 2 coming years which is indeed needed
