The hotel is perfect and has been meticulously renovated. It’s a pleasure to spend time in this hotel, which is ideally located just a stone's throw from the train station and directly across from the beach. I stayed for work, but it was wonderful to take a dip in the sea both in the morning and evening. However, the highlight of my stay was the staff. I was truly amazed by their friendliness and hospitality. I was welcomed like royalty, and this made all the difference. The freshly renovated hotel combined with a highly competent and professional team creates an experience that’s hard to beat. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a delightful blend of comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. It’s a place you’ll want to return to again and again!

Very well located. Not even a 5 minute walk to train station and across the street from the waterfront promenade. Ground level reception and breakfast room, rooms on first floor. Upper floors appear to be occupied by long term residents. Has an early 20th century vibe with modern updates. Staff very friendly and helpful. A staff member was training a new employee while I was there - she was quite patient and he eager to learn and, although training was in progress, check in and check out were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was decent. Very good price point for the room.

From the moment we arrived, Faustine, the General Manager, was so welcoming and helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and so many lovely restaurants to choose from. Breakfast was really good. Slim, the guy who sorted breakfast out every morning was so kind and warm, nothing was too much trouble. Slim made us and our dog so welcome every morning. Faustine, Slim, Claudia and Sofia are a credit to the company.

The hotel has recently been renovated. It's beautiful, comfortable and in a great location 3 minutes from the station and 30sec walk to the beach. The staff are excellent.

Only issues were the door to the bathroom didn't fully close (doesn't fit properly) and Netflix or the TV didn't work in our room. But No major issues.

The location was perfect, very well situated for the beach, local bars, restaurants and shops and train station. The breakfast was fresh and varied. The staff were extremely helpful and professional.

The room could have been bigger, it was quit pokey - we had to ask for extra blankets in the room as there weren't any on the first night.

Bedroom nicely laid out and spacious. Kettle with tea and coffee, nuxe products in the bathroom, comfy bed. At night you can ear the waves crashing.

1st floor, not much light coming in despite the sea view. A lot of work going on at the moment on the sea front, which the hotel cannot do anything about.

Very nice hotel, very nice room, comfortable and great location. Close to the station and in front of the beach!

Breakfast was far too expensive, should be the option of a small breakfast and a big breakfast

The location is excellent as we had our son's wedding in the Cathedral. It was where we chose to stay with all our friends. Lovely on the beachfront with the shops and restaurants all around us. We did not have breakfast but our friends were very happy with the breakfast on offer. The staff at reception were absolutely superb! Very helpful.

I think the hotel is a little tired! The carpets in the passages definitely need replacing. The grouting around our shower was covered in mould and fungus-definitely the bathrooms need some work! However, the room was clean and the sheets and towels were all good!

Friendly and professional check in, with extra help to work out how to use the safe. Comfortable, well appointed room. Appreciated the kettle, iron and ironing board. Comfortable beds too. Good location on the promenade. Excellent choice at breakfast. Staff were very good at topping up food when required.

Would have appreciated more than 2 teabags for a 4 night stay. Shame as we had a kettle in the room not to be able to have an early cup of tea each morning. Wasn't bothered about the dressing gown and slippers. They just took up room in the wardrobe.
