Ok sized room that was good for us & our dog. Breakfast was good. I thought the bed was comfortable but my boyfriend disagreed. It was ok.

Went in January & every restaurant within walking distance was closed. We drove down closer to the Ferris wheel area and found an awesome/cool Mexican restaurant. There was a roach in the ceiling in the hall that I saw at night & in the morning. That was pretty gross. The power went out & we weren’t sure if it was our room or the whole hotel. Tried to call front desk to ask but there was no answer. Boyfriend walked down to desk & says there was no one there. Not a place I’d stay at again but it was ok for the price & I was happy they took the dog.

We were expecting a fairly simple but comfortable chain hotel for the price in that area which can be expensive. But from the first welcome, the staff were always so helpful and friendly. The pool was a perfect temperature, with more than enough sun loungers for everybody so no rush to the pool in the morning to reserve seating with towels! Also a stylish lobby and bar area. Best of all the food! We paid for half board and had dinner in the restaurant outside on the marina every night except for one where we swapped for lunch by the pool. The 3 course meal was outstanding every night! The menu would change slightly to keep it fresh, but was always exceptional and the staff working in the restaurant at night and at breakfast were always so helpful and friendly. We took a walk most nights up to the night market by Saint Raphael beach which was only around 20 minutes walk. We felt very at home and found it hard to leave.

Our corner "Queen" room was a little small and only had just enough space for the bed, so not really that much space for the price. Would be better for one person but a bit small for two people

The location was in the marina with a good selection of restaurants and a bar very close. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on that. We did use the mini breakfast service which was in the foyer and consisted of juice, fruit, pastries and coffee for a reasonable price. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was quiet. There was a Spar not far away which could provide more or less anything you wanted. The marina was lovely and clean and a nice place to walk. It is a pleasant walk along the esplanade to St Raphael where the bus and train station are easy to find. Bus trip to St Tropez was very scenic and good value at 3 euros. Train to Nice was also scenic and efficient.

The shower was an over-bath one which is never very great for pressure or control of hot/cold - but it isn't a major problem and only mention it to find something to write here

Breakfast was terrible. We had the express at 8 euros which was poor value for money. Next day we decided to have the main breakfast at 18 euros. There was so little choice. Really poor value for money. Spoiled what would have been a great stay. Maybe the French like cakes for breakfast but aren’t you catering for all nationalities? We British like a proper breakfast thanks.

Port view room with balcony was a brilliant choice as we could make our own meals when we wanted using the nearby shops and have as good a view and table as any restaurant. Pool was brilliant and never busy. Breakfast was also brilliant as we were able to sit outside opposite the boats. There was a complete infrastructure around the hotel, bars, restaurants, baker, supermarket which we hadn't realised so there was no need to travel into St Raphael itself (a 20 min walk). In fact St Raphael people seemed to be coming to the port area as it was so good. The bus connection was a real bonus. There were 3 buses you could get (the 21 into town - 5mins, the C right up to old Roman Frejus where we used to stay on hols and the Promenade bus (free!!) which goes to the end of new Frejus port. Really quick, cheap and frequent enough when you timed it right. We used them a lot. 20 mins walk + more to go further might not seem much but in 28 degree heat and at our age it's hard going so the buses were a real bonus. We did side trips to St Tropez (boat) Cannes and Monaco (bus + train) and it was a doddle. We are planning this as our Cote D'azur base from now on. Great to stay at, easy to get to (Train plus one of the 3 buses) and really well priced and a much better option than paying over the odds for much less at one of the larger more well known resorts.

The whole stay was brilliant. We couldn't fault it. The hotel was really well maintained, had a bright open lobby area and was a great place to stay.

Wonderful staff. Quiet ,clean n comfortable room. Sauna facility is a plus. Great breakfast. Staff in the breakfast area are very efficient n super nice. A special thanks to Marlene and Anita. Marlene, we didn't get a chance to say good bye and to thank you in person, it was your day off . Much appreciated for accommodating.

Situated in a marina - our room had a balcony overlooking the marina - lovely swimming pool- only 100 rooms so not constantly heaving with people all the time. The hotel is well placed for driving to the town or for the more adventurous along the corniche to Cannes. Lovely helpful staff- rooms beautifully cleaned every day. Comfortable beds and great bathroom.They allow dogs. Indoor and outdoor dining.

I would have preferred a more substantial bar menu than just pizza as sometimes we ate a big lunch and just wanted something snacky at night.

We loved our stay at the best western, the location was fantastic, on the marina with lots of bars and restaurants and a ten minute walk to central St Raphael. The pool was nicer then the pictures and the pool bar restaurant food and drinks were really nice; the bar staff could make any drinks the peach daiquiris were exceptional! Rooms clean and comfortable!

The only downside was the gym seemed to be open to members of the public. We went to use it and were told it was private, and there was some sort of class on.

We were early. Walked in and it was no problem. The staff were lovely. It is a well organised hotel. We had a room overlooking the pool and the bay and stayed for 3 nights. Only regret was we should have stayed for longer. Great pool by the way and if you like boats it is called La Marina for a reason.

It is more of a walk to the centre of St Raphael than expected. About 20 to 25 minutes. There are a huge amount of restaurants in the marina so not a problem in the evening. We ended up having a curry one night! Highly recommended!

The hotel was located about a 15/20 minute walk from the main town. So if happy to walk location is good. Plenty of restaurants nearby but not thy cheap. Although you are in the South of France. Pool Was decent. Breakfast €18 per person. A bit steep for me. Otherwise a nice hotel.

Bit strange, there was no shower curtain within the bath. Water obviously goes everywhere and a clean up job is required!
