I am so glad to have found an amazing home (retreat) in Tehri, as good options are very limited. Everything from the food to the service to the view (himalyan peaks) was very special! The owner Mr Mahesh and his family have made this property with a lot of love and effort. Their vision is to create an oasis of calm where people could meditate and do yoga. It was a pleasure to interact and spend time with the whole family. Special thanks to Raju (the manager) who went the extra mile to take care of all our needs! Cant wait to bring my family to this beautiful abode :) Highly recommended for all travelers!

The access to the property is a bit tricky, and my suggestion would be to install some kind of sensor lights along the way for guiding guests. We were helped by the staff each time we needed to come back to the hotel in the dark.

A TV in the room would be admirable. And Tandoori items in food menu would be much appreciated.

Rudraksh is a wholesome experience of Himalayas with ringside view of the Gangotri and Bandarpunch ranges. No matter where you are on the estate, including the dining area, the high peaks are there in front of you. If you care to look closer around you, you will find yourself in an oak, fir and rhododendron forest, teeming with birdlife. If this is not enough, Mahesh and Rupali who run Rudraksh offer a fantastic kitchen that prepares food for your soul. Well fed, you will be coaxed to go on treks in the forest and hill-top meadows. As the air chills around you, you watch the setting sun turn the sky flaming orange over the mountains. You dont want to go home. You don't want this to end.

It's a gem of a place. The room I stayed in had a nice view of Himalayas. It's a great place for nature lovers and also for people who want a break from mundane world and get in tune with nature.

The views from the room are spectacular. The food is really amazing.

Ambience, food quality and hospitality of entire team.

Location is good. One can see mountains and lake Tehri from there. Its a peaceful place with good landscaping, free from pollution and away from crowd. Enjoyed the Garhwali meals served there. Bathrooms are good…. and this is one aspect that makes or breaks the deal for me.
