where do I begin, I came across this place after having a very bad experience in a near by hotel where I couldn’t stay the night so I booked in Bondalem around 12Am but I couldn’t find any type of transportation to take me there so I texted the hotel and they responded saying someone will come and pick me up, and that’s when I met Mr. Max who I called him “a life saver” at that point which I meant.. he drove me to to the amazing hotel and even upgraded my room to a one bedroom villa for free and told me about all the nearby attractions and arranged a bike for me.. I will definitely be back because of him

Martina, Komang, Harry, Putu, Gede… they’re extremely friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We took all meals right by the beach, choosing from the huge menu without a dish that ever disappointed. Prices are ok, not the cheapest, but fair enough considering the remote location of this place. Pools and gardens as well as rooms are clean and looked after. Rooms as well as beds are extremely spacious! We especially liked the huge walk-in wardrobe. No seating area in front of the room though (which we knew at the time of booking). Also, the room rates are above average from what we’re used to pay in the North of Bali - again, something that we accepted as we wanted to stay right at the beach with the option to go freediving. Thanks again to the great staff that made our stay really enjoyable!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It’s simply perfect for a 2–3 day getaway. I wouldn’t stay here for a long time — just like in any other hotel in Bali — because there’s so much to see on the island, and due to the long distances, it’s more convenient to change hotels. This particular hotel is ideal for those who truly appreciate peace and quiet: it’s very calm here, with only the sound of the waves, and the food is absolutely amazing! It was the best cuisine we experienced in all the restaurants and hotels we visited in Bali — even compared to very expensive hotels, the food here was far tastier. And the prices are very reasonable! There is a beach where you can swim and snorkel, but, as everywhere in Bali, you need to be mindful of the tides. On this beach, the corals are especially sharp, so you should be careful. The hotel even has a small cabinet where you can borrow masks, fins, or special swimming shoes for free. A diving center is located nearby, within walking distance — a great spot if you enjoy diving. There are also opportunities for yoga (at an extra cost) and massage.

What we didn’t like (relevant only for families with small children under 3 years old): 1. In our villa, on the second floor, there was a wooden shelf about 1.10 m high. It was quite heavy, completely empty, and simply standing against the wall without being secured. If a child were to pull on it, it could fall and cause serious injury. Such shelves should be securely fixed to the wall or placed in a way that eliminates the risk of falling. 2. The power sockets were very loose, and some felt unsafe to touch. This, by the way, was the case in all the hotels we stayed at in Bali. Clearly, the place could use the work of a good electrician.

Beautiful location in the north beach of Bali. Friendly helpful staff. Great facilities - infinity pool, restaurant, massage, manicure, pedicure, gym, snorkelling equipment. We swam every day, enjoyed daily massages. Loved local food and drinks, relaxed by the pool, walked along the beach path. We loved the included breakfast menu - fresh tropical fruit, banana pancake or fritter, and choice of cappucino type coffees.

Bintang beer was availabile, however Bindang Radler with lemon would be a great addition to the Drinks menu.

The location is superb. an infinity pool next to the ocean which laps at the shore. Traditional accommodation in a lovely building. Food was great. Service very good. Massage facilities available with lovely local masseuses. Pool is very clean, and always the right temperature!

Sanitary problems were efficiently dealt with.

This hotel in northern Bali is really great. The food is amazing, and there's a big garden with fruits. They have two swimming pools and two yoga gyms that you can use anytime. They provide snorkeling equipment and also helped us with organizing motorbikes and diving. Also there is a traditional market located within a 10-minute walk from the hotel, where you can buy local sweets, fresh fish, a great place to visit to feel the real Bali! I definitely recommend to visit this part of the island at least once!

I’ve really enjoyed my stay in Bondalem, there is a nice restaurant, quite around, very friendly staff. Will definitely come back to stay for longer! Recommended!
