The ambiance is superb. And the staff is very helpful. We reached late night and figured there wasn't an easy way to reach the place. They helped us get there. The bike rental guy is like a guardian angel. I forgot my phone under the bed, and didn't even know i did until they found it, called up and said they found it. They sent it via courier to my place. Really thankful for that! Special thanks to kishan singh Negi for the find. Location wise this is a great place to be, if you get a two wheeler on rent, you're all set! The games are super fun too.

I liked the cleanliness of the entire establishment, however do not book if you don't have a modern phone as when I arrived I was guided to download the app and the app was used to open my room door. Without a phone I am not certain what options are available. Also I had to make certain that I left charge on my phone so I could re-enter my room in the evenings. I wish to emphasise on the positive room and entire premises hygiene. It is possibly one of the best budget places I have ever stayed and I would not hesitate to book again.

I didn't like that I needed to download an app to open my room; however the entire process was easy enough, but could limit older clients or those travelling with older phones - those people still travel! The location might not be suited to unfit persons or people with any difficulty walking up steep terrain. It is a steep climb to this hotel entry. Perhaps seek prior assistance with luggage, or contact the hotel prior to arrival for other options if this could effect you. Otherwise I did not mind the short steep walk. Great meal options are offered in house, with an excellent night manager and overall facilities in general. As stated above, I would not hesitate to recommend or book again.

The hostel is in a good location on the quieter side of the river. It has great views of the Ganges. It has great communal spaces with a cafe, chill out area, yoga hall and roof terrace. Staff were friendly. There were a lot of bad reviews about the steep climb to the hotel, this is an exaggeration and really nothing to worry about unless you have accessibility needs. It is only a few stairs!

The price is quite high for what you get. Our room was described as deluxe double. It had a good view and was clean but very basic. The bridge closest to the hostel, across the river, is currently closed so you have to get a speed boat across or walk to the lower bridge. This wasn’t too much trouble for us but it’s something to be aware of if you need access to Tapovan because the boat stops running at 4.30 / 5pm.

What I like the most is the staff who are Super Friendly. This hostel is a MUST to stay at least once. I would have given 10/10 if the location was not uphill hahaha (At least I got my cardio workout done.) The staff Host , Karnika and Piyush are great that it made all traveler comfortable. The view at the top is marvelous and it is insta worthy!! The Room is clean and spacious!!

I like everything in overall. If you are travelling with family, You might not like the location as this hostel is situated uphill. If you are solo backpacker, they will be no issue. Just be prepared to climb 200m up hill to the hostel. I will still say it is worth it climbing up and down :) However if you don't like climbing, you could rent a bike near by any store!!

I like the taste of Breakfast., Good cafeteria, play area, meditation area, and terrace.. Clean Washrooms.. Free wifi..

Please specify that Laxman Jhula is closed permanently and you have to reach the property by walking. It's more than 3 km.. and no vehicle. I was so exhausted when I reached there carrying my luggage. And yes there's no way to contact the property also.. If you are traveling with Group then there could be a problem with lock System. They provide lock access to only one.

Although booking "Hostel" for a long stay took real courage and a leap of faith but not once I had any regret during my stay. 1. Place - The hostel is as beautiful as it can get, infact it doesn't even look like a hostel. It's more like a fun resort. 2. Vibe The vibe of this place is just perfect and calm, people who come here share a similar mentality which makes it even more fun. 3. Staffs All the staffs are very friendly and supportive, they ensure that every guest in comfortable. A special thanks to Kapil and muskan and Harish for going above and beyond to make my stay comfortable.

1. Food Food served inhouse is not that great, while they do provide basic menu but I feel gostops should work on this and build a better menu with more varieties. 2. WiFi WiFi speed is not that great, so buy data packs in advance if you are planning a workation.

Everything was so great, the staff members were so welcoming and friendly. Starting from check-in experience to check-out, it was good. I was planning to stay in Rishikesh for 4-5 days and ended up extending for 3 times :D. Even though I went on a solo trip but never felt one, as each member was so helpful & always ready to extend help and information. Special thanks to Kapil and Ritesh who we're literally my guide books along with the bunch of friends that I made :) A special credit to the house cleaning staffs, they ensured to keep the rooms and the property clean all the time, very humble people and driven towards their work :)

Food. I feel quality and price of food can be lil revised and improved.

The common areas are amazing. They have various games and it's very well maintained. They also have a projector and a screen. The rooms are alright. The beds are extremely comfortable but the overall space is small. The bathrooms are clean. The location is excellent, it's right in the middle of hundreds of cafes and very close to the river. The in house cafe is pretty cheap and good.

There's a long uphill walk to reach the hostel which is very tiresome for some people. This is a major thing to keep in mind. They don't provide towels, but you can get them at a nominal charge of 50 Rs. The lack of space in the dorms could be a deal breaker for some.

The reception crew were the best! The place is super chill and it’s clean. There’s hot water, WiFi is good. Location is perfect! Loved my stay. They have a yoga hall, game room and a beautiful view from the rooftop. Honestly, walking in there is like walking into another world.

Loved the common room, the fact that we could stay there almost the whole night. Lovely colorful palette of the whole hostel.. sets the mood and maintains a youthful vibe. Love the fact that there are curtains around the bed for privacy. The view from the roof is very soothing, although I had to drag the swing to it's ideal spot. I believe the placement of the furniture can be better.

The shower water was warm not hot. There was no Toothbrush and Toothpaste holder. Cleaning between the bed and the wall was neglected. The lockers could have a few smaller pockets in it's door for unpacking the small things/daily needs. The yoga common room can be more seating friendly. The staff, when asked about ways of reaching the property from Ram jhula can mention the bike service available for convenience.
