Everything has been amazing, the room and bathroom are new and clean. During our stay they offer to cleaning the room and changing towels and helped us letting us to use their motorcycles to go to the ferry ticket office. They serve a delicious breakfast with many options since 6 am, so is perfect for those who are going to take an island tours! The location is close to bars, restaurants, markets, pharmacys and the port. The staff is very friendly and helpul. We recommend 100% Alec Lodge.

The owners where very friendly and helped when they could. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. Leng the owner would go out of her way to assist you. She even contacted the Touring company, as to try and arrange for a partial refund for overcharged rental and sub service delivery.

Do not use the touring company/ service provider that they hand out pamphlets for, this touring service provider offers island hopping tours, they however use deceitful touring guides. The owner tried to get a partial refund due to the misrepresentation and excessive fees that the tour guide asked in his private capacity.

The most important thing: the lodge owners/staff were amazing! They were extremely helpful in helping us arrange literally everything. We are super thankful! The room was clean, spacious, airconditioning worked fine. Breakfast was simple but good, very nice to enjoy it on the rooftop. The location of the lodge was perfect, near the port and the area with restaurants and bars (5mins walking distance to restaurant area)

The only point of improvement: the pressure of the shower was super low. It might be possible to make the shower a bit more comfortable

The Alec lodge is well located, close to the centre but not disturbed by the bars (if a little bit by the road depending on the room). The cleanliness, the noise of the AC and the breakfast are the standard in the Philippines, not outstanding but for the price in Coron it is normal. The best of all is the staff and especially LENG and ALEC. . They have helped us in everything without getting anything in return. You can ask them questions and they will advise you very well and with a smile. Even when we were no longer staying we kept talking!

The lady owner was really helpful and very knowledgeable about trips, cafés, banks etc. The aircon worked and the room was spotless. The ladies who cleaned and helped with luggage were lovely. On Christmas Eve and Christmas day they offered guests food in the evening. It is a nice hostel.

No balconies despite the information on Booking.com saying all rooms had one. It is on the main street and the traffic noise is constant so the room we were offered was not good. We were moved to a smaller but quieter room. One smallish towel per person and basic breakfast.

We stayed here for four nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were so lovely, helpful, and shared fruit with us. We fit comfortably in the family room with 5 people. The AC helped to drown out the noise from the road and we had a good sleep. We had to work on two of the days and the upstairs area (where breakfast is served) was perfect with great wifi (less so in the room), a lovely breeze, and great views. We could tell that our washroom was recently renovated with a new toilet (great for tall people!), sink, shower head, and towel rack. The breakfast choices (7 choices in total) were filling, and the free drinking water and coffee was helpful. The location was a short walk from the busiest, most touristy area of town. Overall a great stay!

Our washroom floor did not drain the shower properly due to the angle of the floor and location of the drain. Showers created puddles of water, making it slippery especially after five people have showered. We dealt with this by manually pushing water to the drain after every shower. A squeegee would have helped. We had tricycles sent to the pier to pick us up, but the price given by the hotel over Booking (250 PHP x2 trikes) was more than the owner said it should have been, but we were not offered the reduced price after this conversation.

I wanted to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the property owners for their extraordinary hospitality and thoughtfulness. They surprised me with a beautifully decorated room to celebrate my birthday. It made me feel appreciated and valued. Additionally, their local expertise and recommendations were invaluable. They suggested a tour that not only provided a unique and enriching experience but also saved us money in the process. I highly recommend this property to anyone seeking an affordable stay that won't compromise on convenience. The owners' attention to detail, warm hospitality, and insider knowledge make it an ideal choice for travelers.

The location is very good, far enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough that it’s walkable. The highlight though was the hotel owners and staffs who always went out their way to help you and give you advice. They solidified this hotel experience with their welcoming and great attitude. Breakfast was great with a good view to boost.

Although, they have no elevator and going up the stairs can be tiring especially after doing a tour but it’s a minute inconvenience for me that will not overshadow this great hotel experience

Location is good (5min walk from the centre) and clean. The room is spacious and they have hot shower. They have a breakky menu that you can choose from and the staff is super friendly - Lane and Tone are fantastic hosts. The accommodation has discount for the tours so we booked everything with them. I will definitely stay here again! Tip: Take one day to do the ultimate tour and another day rent a scooter and go to the hot spring and Siete Pecados to see the amazing corals.

Great position near to the city center so that is possible to reach everything with a walk. The bedroom is pretty wide and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and aboundant. The staff is probably the best part of the lodge: they are very nice and ready to help you in everything you need (we had a little trouble with a wound and they carried us immediately to the hospital). We strongly recommend a reservation in this lodge when visiting Coron!

The only thing I would add is a shower tray to not wet everything in the bathroom. Regarding the breakfast may be can be added some juice to the drink selection.
