Just a 5 min walk away from a slew of restaurants, a nice park with running and cycling path, coffee shops, convenience stores, banks and evening market. Premise is a huge bungalow, very clean and well kept with ample private parking. Staff and owner was very friendly and courteous.

Should change the towels to a more fluffy one. Internet was working for about a few hours but was working after that. Next to the premise is a school hostel - will be noisy at certain times of the day.

Cleanest hotel we had so far. Host was really nice and really helpfull. Staff really goes the extra mile in helping you and keeping the rooms clean and keeping the hallways quite. Looking at the negative comments, they are probably from people not following the house rules. Location is amazing, can rent a scooter at the house and the staff helps you with setting out a plan for your hikes. They sell drinks cheaper than in stores, you can sit nice on their porch with free coffee and tea. Really a place to visit if you like hiking, clean rooms and a ‘family feeling’.

Great location, close to town but far enough away for it to be peaceful. The outdoor seating area is lovely. This is a family run business and we enjoyed the care and attention given to us during our stay. Best of all was a day tour covering tea plantation, tea factory and the mossy forest. The owner has a great in-depth knowledge of the local area, the environment flora and fauna which made the outing both informative and exciting. He was able to advise on other good places to go looking for wildlife.

Access to a fridge would have been a good addition.

The staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend taking the tours offered at the hotel over similar tours offered in town. The reason being is the vehicle is more comfortable for taller people compared to the restricted headroom of the rovers used by external providers. Not to mention, the knowledge of the guide.

The owners were very very helpful. I left my phone in a taxi and they reached out to all the other drivers in town to get a hold of the one I left my phone in. Would have been completely stuck without it so I’m very grateful. The terrace outside was a lovely place to chill even in a downpour. We sat and played cards with beers we bought from the fridge. Owners also recommended hikes and explained other options to us. Also recommended restaurants in town. Nice and quiet away from the busy main road. We walked from the bus station up the hill with no trouble. WiFi worked fine.

We loved everything about this guesthouse. Truly feels like you’re staying in a family home, a very peaceful one!! Very clean and tidy which we loved as well. Nice comfy beds and rooms with a lovely green view, quiet and a nice short walk into the main town. They have a laundry service, filtered water and even tidied our room and gave us fresh towels! 10/10 would come back and stay here again.

I recently stayed at Rovers Inn Hotel in Cameron Highlands for two days and had a wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and nice, making my stay very pleasant. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. There’s a lovely café downstairs with facilities to chill, offering free tea and coffee. While there are no cooking facilities, a microwave is available for reheating food. The location is very convenient, being close to shops and the bus terminal. The WiFi is reliable, and the cooler weather due to its downhill location is a bonus. As a solo traveler, I found it to be a great place for peace and serenity. It’s ideal for couples and solo travelers, but not as suitable for families, especially since children under 11 are not allowed. Overall, Rovers Inn Hotel is a fantastic choice for those seeking tranquility.

While my stay at Rovers Inn Hotel was overall pleasant, there were a few areas that could use improvement. During my stay, there was no room service or facilities refill suggested, which I think could be enhanced considering the price paid. The mirrors in the room were quite rusty, and the makeup mirror was positioned too high, making it difficult to use, especially for someone of average height like myself. For Malaysians, it might be even more challenging to see! Despite the staff being very nice and friendly, I did feel a bit unwelcome when trying to chill in the downstairs area. This might just be my perception, but it’s worth mentioning.

We were allocated room on third floor, no lift and can be difficult to lug luggage up three floors. Room is spacious with windows and great natural light. We paid for 2 queen-size beds, hence comfortable. Good Wifi, no TV though. Within 10-15 minutes' walking distance to restaurant/shops but steep downward slope so not easy to walk up and down. Grab service is available but subject to peak/non-peak hours.

Toilet and Shower not separated so toilet bowl/seat and floor get wet after shower. Toilet has limited wall hanger to hang towel or clothes. The staff was really kind. Outside was a nice terrace to sit down and grab a cup of tea/ coffee or water. The room was spacious. The area was pretty quiet. Hotel is close to the center.

Location was really good but you should mind that the hotel is on a hill. So you have to walk up and down the hill or use another form of transportation. Also keep in mind that the hotel doesn’t have an elevator (but has only three levels). Shower was close to the toilet so when I took a shower the toilet was getting wet.
