Totally amazing place to stay! Highly recommended. First of all, it is only 7 mins walk from the ancient city of pangyao. It is also so nearby the railway station. You can go by DIDI or bus, both are so convenient. Second, the decor of the place is AMAZING! I couldn’t help take pictures and video when i first came it. They even have a swing and glass-fish! The staff are so friendly and nice people. The Owner gave me water when i first came and when i left. Whenever i ask for anything she always helps. They have bar and food there with nice prices. I didn’t eat there but saw the food, it looked so delicious. The rooms were also amazing, it is two levels bed and mine was the one above. Surprisingly, it was so comfortable too. When i move it doesn’t vibrate into the bottom bed. The toilet is clean and they have shower gel, hair shampoo, small towel, and toothbrush with toothpaste ready for you to use. The air conditioner works fine and the wi-fi is connected from my room.

The staff was so kind and happy all the time, they helped me a lot and they speak English, which is pretty rare in China, even in some hotels. They gave me a map and recommended some places, also asked a taxi for me for the next day that I had my train to Beijing in the morning. The shared dorm was clean, had shampoo, air conditioner, clean sheets, futon, and pillow. Also curtains for privacy. I enjoyed my stay a lot. They even gave me a little souvenir on my way out and free water. Thank you for a very pleasant stay. Amazing price and just five minutes walking from North Gate of the old city. Supermarket right on the corner.

The Guesthouse is managed by husband and wife. They are both nice and helpful. They let me use the kitchen to prepare a fresh soup for my little baby and I apreciated it. The location is perfect to visit the city. You can walk 5 minutes to get to a close furnished supermarket and a 7up shop, also many restaurants around and temples to visit (you can buy a unique tiket to visit the 21 temples of Pingyao Ancient City). They speak quite good english (expecially the wife) so there is a good communication. Finally, there is a good quality/price service.

I didnt like the fact that breakfast is not included, so every morning I needed to pay 35 yen to get a coffe and an egg. Also they ask for money when you are using washing machine to wash clothes (4 yen per piece, even though she made a discount for me). The room style is a bit old fashion and they could take care of cleaning in a better way (wash the window curtains and window glasses for example).

Kind owners. The lady could speak English so she can recommend places and was nice to talk to. I one day tried the breakfast and was nice. Kind of 3 blocks outside the north gate, quite easy to find. They have a beautiful aquarium I spent time everyday admiring it. Super recomendable, both Pingyao and this guest house.

The mattress was a bit hard for western standards, but it's good for your back.

Everything was so excellent😊😊😊. The place is very convinient to the old city only by walking. It is also easy to get taxi and not far from the train stations. The host was very friendly and helpful. She tried to speak with me in both English abd Chinese so i can practise my Chinese.😊 Im happy to find such a good place for my trip.😊

The street get in is a bit rough. Hope government will fix it soon.

It is a very comfortable and homely hostel. The room has a bathroom and shower, clean sheets and air conditioning. You can arrive late, they welcome you with warm water and guide you in whatever you need. The reception person is very kind and always helps you. You can easily walk to the old city.

I would only improve the cleanliness of the bedroom floor a little more.

We stayed at this beautiful place for 4 nights and it was wonderful! Useful tips and recommendations, amazing bedroom with all you need and very clean. Very responsive host and excellent food available for dinner and breakfast! After 2 months in Asia, we felt like we were at home! Extremely recommended!

Jiaxin guesthouse is very well located, very close to the north gate of the ancient town wall. You can get there easily from the railway station by bus. The place is very nice and the service is excellent. She helped us in everything we needed and she was so kind. The bed is very confortable and room very clean.

Great value for the money!! The hostel is about ten minutes walk from the North gate,The best part of our stay was the host who was really friendly, We initially booked two beds in a dormitory, but when we got there she was so kind to change the reservation and she gave us a double room which was nice and clean.

Beautiful & relaxing guesthouse with lovely furnishings & only a 10-minute walk to the Ancient City. The woman who managed the guesthouse was so kind, & so helpful with all my questions. It was also a great place for meals - her breakfasts & coffees were the best!
