- there was one member of staff that was really nice - it was very quiet - food was cheap and good - good wifi - nice dogs on site

- no hot water - the other members of staff were rude and inconsiderate ( one of them sat outside our room singing and playing guitar all day everyday ) - quite far from town - air conditioning made the room very damp - room is too light because the outside lights are always on beaming into the room - tried to organise sight seeing with them and the driver was an hour and 1/2 late

The receptionist guy was very friendly and helped us a lot in planning for which place to go and which one is good and feasible for us. The dorms were very comfortable and exceeded my expectations as it was my first time in dorms. Enjoyed making new friends in goSTOPs. Almost forgot the bonfire part at night, do not miss that.

The breakfast we ordered, it was 2 combo plate (1 poha, 1 paratha and 1 coffee) He served only 1 plate of poha and 2 plates of Parathas in which both the Parathas were cold and even the coffee was very bad and it was half filled. We asked them to make it again, which wasted our time. But it's fine, the staff was new, so yes it's understandable.

Laundry issue, it would have been great if you have a washing meaching like rest of the hostels as there are no buckets in the washroom, but they do provide laundry service which is a bit slow only cause of the weather

Great location in the hills far from the city noise pollution and crowds of people- wonderful fresh clean air and cool nights& mornings and heaps of compliments to the Manager Karan,Ranjan,Prashanth and Staff for treating me warmly like a family member ,giving me a bunk.room totally to myself and delivering my ordered meals promptly-Karan & Ranjan when out of their way to assist me with bus transportation from madekeri to panjim goa- facilities were great,very clean with available filtered water and refrigerator for guests to use- will return again for sure

Just a kind suggestion if in the near future a common kitchen can be provided for guests to use but with strict hygiene rules for guests to keep the kitchen ,all equipment cutleries & utensils & pots & refrigerators & wiping cloths clean after each use

I like the concept of hostels. So, it is a budget friendly option for those who doesn't need luxurious stays. It is colour full and filled with energy! Nice place to hangout.

Check-in time is 1pm. Checkout time is 10pm. How in the hell one can arrive a tourist place at 1pm???? @Gostops if you are seeing this, It seems like you are trying to loot the tourists with very odd timings. Not good. NOT AT ALL GOOD. If you have a fair explanation with you, attach it along with the sarcastic rules you stick everywhere in the rooms!!!

It was good experience for a solo traveller facilities are good bit distance from centre point. If it is better to have complementary coffee or tea atleat in the morning time. Rest all staff is very cordial and cooperative. I recommend it for Sole travellers.

Being my first hostel experience, everything about it was great. The hosts were very friendly, the vibe was good, facilities were fine, plus you meet new people. Pros: Great hosts Comfortable beds Indoor games to chill Great Vibe Not far from major spots in town You get a small bonfire every night

I certainly believe the cleanliness of the common dorm washrooms have more to do with the people you're sharing the room with. On that note, the people we shared the room with weren't the most hygienic ones. But the staff got it cleaned whenever and if asked. So this isn't a con. The food was basic. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great either. But hey, you're here for the food or the stay? Plus, the food here is cheap so it's alright.

The hostel had friendly staff and people around and the property was well maintained. They also have a routemap of things that could be done as all go stops do and kudos to whoever cameup with that idea. They also organise Jeep rides to mandalpatti which saves us the effort of finding a jeep especially when its season.

The network connectivity for sim cards is low and the wifi here is web page authentication enabled. If you are working in any organisation that doesn't let you connect to third party websites you won't be able to work.

Quite good, when it's comes to comfy beds and cleaned room. Staffs were extremely friendly and ready to help guest always with a smile specially Shekar. Place was calm and chilled. Food was okay, can improve on that section. Indoor games like foosball and pool was very much satisfying.

It would be better if the lunch and dinner mess arranged along with unlimited food for time being. I had a locker problem when I visited first so I would suggest to keep repairing. Apart from that I am extremely satisfied with the stay. Giving 9/10 rate.

Staff was very cooperative and they have also gone out of the way to make the stay comfy. Meets expectations from a solo traveller's point of view like me.
