The room wasn't over big, but it was clean and comfortable - great value for money

It wasn't me, but my colleague didn't sleep well as the air con hummed quite loudly. The light outside was quite bright and was seeping through the gaps in the curtain, he ended up going out to the car and getting some bulldog clips from the paperwork box to close it better. I could sleep through an air raid siren!!

Handy for stopover on the Spirit of Outback train and room had all facilities you could need such as fridge, microwave etc. Lady from motel met me at station and showed me how to get to the motel.

Ants in bathroom, couple of which must have hopped on my clothes and ended up in bed with me, and gap under front door let debris blow in and little tiny lizard also came under.

Very comfortable stay for three nights. Upgrades are ongoing but being done very well. Laundry facilities good and fellow guests very considerate regarding noise etc. Undercover parking very welcome.

Overall this is a very good motel which is obviously has plans for the future. No check in staff was only a minor inconvenience which was caused by our change in contact details.

Clean and comfortable and walking distance to town. Staff amazingly helpful.

Fridge door stuck on carpet so would not open much. Had to make toast or boil kettle on bedside table. Power points in crazy places. No bedside lamps. I am sure they will remedy these things as the units had only just been renovated.

1. Property looked like a closed site, reception drive-thru blocked by parked cars and a sign on door saying this reception is closed. 2. No communication prior to arrival stating special arrangements for collection of key. Check-in and collection of key is not on-site, it is numerous blocks down the road. 3. Blasé attitude (uncaring in my opinion) of male person. 4. Unable to cancel/change booking within the hour of being made (no cooling-off period). 5. Because of all the above, we refused to stay at Abajaz. 6. Moneys were deducted from my card without my approval for which I never received a receipt.

3 night stay enjoyed. New renovations. Roomy bedside tables. Look for plates etc in microwave!!( they should put small note). Good location, great shower head, comfy bed. Clean and quiet.

Good new pillows but too high. 1 high and low would compliment the 2 pillows given.

Staff were super helpful- providing us with daily transport to the venues we were visiting, as well as collect & drive us to / from rail transport upon arrival & departure. Local information was given by the friendly staff eg meals, etc

Nice room in quiet location. The TV wasn’t working when we arrived and they came instantly when we reported it and replaced it by the end of the day.

The only suggestion to consider is there was no information pack in the room on things you can do and see in the town/area or suggestion places for meals etc.

Beautiful just refurbished rooms. Very clean. Great shower. Host onto an issue immediately. Very impressive.

Took forever for the hot water to make it into the bathroom, at least 3-4 minutes. That’s a lot of wasted water. It was worth the wait though!

It was an enjoyable walk on the Botanical walkway to both the Stockman’s Hall of Fame and the Qantas Museum and in the opposite direction, a pleasant stroll from the Abajaz Motel, was the Railway and the Main Street. Very well located for our purposes.
