We loved our stay at Japan Snowsports, the location is perfect, the owners Annie and Dutchie are amazingly helpful and hospitable, along with all the friendly staff. The breakfast is delicious, with so much care and thought put into every detail throughout the chalet. The free shuttles and the fact that it’s a one stop shop for all your rental, lessons, tickets, transportation makes the stay so easy and relaxing, ensuring you get as much time on the slopes as possible. 11/10 stay here, can’t wait to come back next season.

The room is fully equipped with comfortable surroundings, and its prime location offers excellent access to Nagano and Niigata prefectures, making it very convenient for cherry blossom viewing. The host is warm, sincere, polite, and thoughtful, providing us with a pleasant and welcoming experience.

Very similar to a European chalet holiday with a Japanese feel. Owners and staff were very friendly and attentive and organised everything from transport to lift passes, dinner bookings to serving a delicious breakfast.

Our stay on Japan Snowsports was simply perfect. From the time we got there to our departure we had a great time. All the staff were very kind and friendly. Jerome was specially solicitous helping getting us around the area and was always there for us, it was really a superb service. Annie and Dutchie were such pleasant hosts. I highly recommend the six course dinner! The food was delicious and the dinner course was full of unexpected and thoroughly thought out dishes that made for a really entertaining and unforgettable night. My Girlfriend loved the wine pairing and the wine selection. Will definitely come back.
