We had an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge! The room was spotless, and the service was truly impressive. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and care. The team took their time to answer all our questions, making us feel incredibly valued. We couldn’t have imagined a better reception. The entire staff was motivated, friendly, and always helpful, which we deeply appreciate. We felt so comfortable throughout our stay. This was our second time at Moxy NYC Downtown, and it definitely won’t be our last! We’re already looking forward to seeing you all again! P.S. If you have a USB port, you can plug it directly into the wall without needing an adapter! :)

The staff was great, and the location was close to lots of interesting restaurants and bistros

There was a destination fee that was not mentioned on bookings.com. There was no parking for the hotel. The parking suggested by the hotel staff was 70USD a day.

Amazing location - so close to Ground zero and the Brooklyn Bridge crossing. A really vibey hotel bar with ace DJs. It felt safe. Modern and fun. There’s also an INCRED foot spa place next door, where you can get a great foot rub at a great place!

I found the reception staff a bit clueless! Although the porter/doorman was on it & very helpful in calling cabs. The reception also smells of gas! Like a gas leak, which I mentioned to reception and got no response! You have to ask room service to clean/freshen your room. And although they leave a small bottle of water in the room, tea & coffee making facilities would be nice. I really liked the hotel, but didn’t love it!

Very nice hotel, very helpfull and kind staff, on the entry and also in the dinning area, lounge area. The credit for every day was a plus plus, which we could spent on food or drinks. That was our salvation because we could have delicious breakfast every day that was included into our bill. And very big plus for vegan options, very very big plus. Bad thing is that you raised the prices the last day we were there. Holding the luggage till leaving the hotel is also very big plus for us and not charging it. The toilet was clean when we got there, we think it should have been cleaned in the meantime while we were staying there and not just before we came, and also, there are no hangers inside the toilet, but that's the only minus we could find and it's not very important. All in all, it was very pleasant stay and we look forward traveling and staying in you hotels in other countries.

Great stay, perfect location, wonderful staff and in all a perfect place to stay in Manhattan. Roms are not big but it’s what you need. Perfect beds, view, breakfast, good sleep. If I go again I would choose Moxy.

Was give somewhat of attitude from staff regarding Tokens for breakfast, they where short on Tokens in reception so had to come there 3 times for the whole stay to refill (which I don’t really mind). The 3rd time one staff gave me attitude ,kind of implying i should have been given all them the first dag. Well I do agree to that but since they wore short on those Tokens and kept asking me to come back I feel that giving attitude is not a good thing. As quest I prefer not to be questioned since it’s a management problem and not a guest problem. Giving attitude should not have guest relation contact. Nuff said, in overall, the stay was great thumps up. (Some people should just not work in service)

Location and vibe of lobby.

They have an additional destination fee of $25 a day which they don’t tell you about upfront. They try to make it seem like a perk but it’s really just an additional fee.

Location, things to do in hotel, views of bridge were amazing from the 26th floor!

The main elevator was broken for about 45 minutes where we stood in the breezeway. We had to get special access to the emergency staircase in order to access our rooms. The bar staff were great but they were out of a lot of basic drinks so we had to order hard liquor.

Stayed at the Moxy for a week for birthday and anniversary celebrations - greeted by Justin who after a long flight made check in so smooth and explained everything thoroughly. From the security deposit of $100 to explaining the $25 a night fee I left feeling confident that everything was explained fully. I’ll start with the negative as there is only 1 which is that the rooms are smaller than they look on photos and sound in previous reviews. We had a maintenance problem in our room 2 days into the stay and ended up speaking with Isaac at reception who was straight to organising a room move and informing the manager on duty. I was then greeted by Artum who gave us a higher floor room, breakfast tokens and couldn’t have been more accommodating whilst dealing with this issue. Our second room was on the highest floor and more spacious As we were there celebrating Justin had arranged for a complimentary bottle of champagne to be brought to the room - again, is the icing on the cake after roaming NYC all day. Overall the location of the hotel is perfect, a stone throw from Brooklyn Bridge. CVS, Starbucks and other shops right on the door step. Beds are comfortable. Bar with a tuck shop, basketball court and games to play on an evening. Hotel is clean. ALL staff from the bar staff and reception to security and housekeeping are polite and willing to help with every need. Gym could do with some love but good enough for what I used it for. I will definitely be back - and a special thanks to Justin, Isaac & Artum for being so helpful, accommodating and hospitable during our stay☺️

The hotel itself was nice, amenities offered was appreciated, cleanliness was a plus and staff very pleasant. Bathroom shower had a link or something because water was always on the floor after we showered. Food in the restaurant was horrible! No flavor no taste very bland breakfast and lunch. Did not like we were force to pay $75 to get it back in food or drink voucher when I much rather eat/drink elsewhere. No control by the hotel But the construction around the area made it a little difficult. Location depending on your visit is okay. I didn’t realized I booked away from the happenings of Times Square. Not enough Food options and fun things to do in that part of town. However I enjoyed my visit despite the cold/rain and the Moxy Hotel

This hotel is a complete vibe. We loved how chill and trendy it was. The staff were all incredible, friendly, helpful and professional. Shout out to Justin, sadly we only met him as we were leaving but he was great, really helpful and we had a great chat with him. The bar is really cool, very relaxed vibe. Even when the DJ was on, it was still pretty relaxed, we could hear our conversation whilst enjoying the music. Rooms are very clean and really comfortable. Small but plenty big enough to be comfortable for a week. We absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely be back.
