Traditional style hotel in a very secluded rural location. A great base for cycling or walking in the nearby national parks.

The hotel seemed a little tired and could do with a slight upgrade, that said it is in a very traditional style that actually suited the experience. The food was good but not exceptional.

Very clean, staff very accomodating with all request, large room for 3 adults, dinner very nice for a good price. It is a outdated hotel but has everything we need and they made us feel welcome.

The only point was for my mum of 85 years old to take a shower inside the bath was a bit dangerous. As they have a lot of elderly guests coming, a remodeling in the bathroom could be a good idea.

It was a charming refurbished castle in a quiet location. Very friendly and helpful restaurant staff and receptionist. The room we had was perfect for my little family of 3. My daughter got her extra bed. Beds are comfy. Room is spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the castle garden with fountain. It was nice waking up to that soothing sound of the fountain. Food at their restaurant is superb! I read about it in the guests' reviews. And I agree. Great location. We could have stayed longer.

It’s a beautiful property and must be really wonderful in summer. The room was large and comfortable. Everywhere was extremely clean. The staff was extremely welcoming and immediately responsive to a concern which I expressed.

Breakfast: the offer wasn’t very varied.

The hotel is in a grand old building which had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. The bed was super comfortable and the ensuite was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a nice dinner in the hotel restaurant

Ample parking and easy check in. Friendly staff who spoke English. Rooms were spacious for a night’s stay and had a small fridge. Elevator access. Easy parking on the grounds. Bathrooms were clean. Lovely landscaping and outdoor dining areas.

Nice relaxing place, staff was nice. Free parking. Dinner service was great, they had a guy playing violin and piano who was really good - nice touch!

Great location, very calm and posdible to reach Maaseik by bike. Even a marriage party did not disturb us as we feared. Good breakfast and dinner, very nice staff.

good location for bicycle roundtrips, or walks. Plenty of place to park bicycles and power plugs for e-bikes. Extremely friendly staff (that is an understatement). Exquisite cuisine for dining, breakfast is good.

some minor room issues, ie noise from the minibar, a leaking toilet and a reading light that could not be switched off. These were easily fixable by myself, I even forgot to mention them at checkout.
