Beautiful hotel right in the center of Roermond. Room was very big and gorgeous designed. Very big comfortable bed. Double sink and great shower. Coffee maker in the room and we were able to use the beverages in the mini bar for free. Our bicycles were placed securely in the parking garage. Access to that was via a car lift which was interesting but easy to use with our bicycles. Breakfast was excellent. Fresh fruit, pancakes, bacon , bread etc etc. Liked the tea selection with fresh tea leaves. Staff very professional and friendly too. Would definitely stay here again.

Location and the hotel’s design are great. Breakfast is nice and the lical restaurant is excellent.

Two things - 1) the quantity of dust is unbelievable. I showed a photo of my iad after one day on the cupboard to the reception. It’s like bobody is cleaning anything than obvious places. 2) room temperature in the evening was low because the heating is automatically turned off after 6pm or so. Every night we had to call the reception and ask for the heating to be turned on. Every night different staff was acting like they don’t understand what we are asking at the beginning - clearly prepared play.

Excellent breakfast, small hotel with friendly staff. Room was well styled with large beds and excellent bathroom facilities. The hotel is conveniently positioned to walk into town and the designer outlet.

The hotel has no restaurant but there several around the area. Rooms are quite dark as have limited natural light due to its position and dark decoration but was still very comfortable.

We have stayed at the Dux before and like it’s near the centre of the town and we can walk everywhere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

I can’t think of anything, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable.

The staff was young, nice and very polite. The location of the hotel is so nice. The location is in a busy road with lots of cafe’s, restaurants, with a view on the river, and yet quite same as the whole city. The breakfast was not wow with a limited variety, however, it was satisfying.

I liked everything

We have stayed in this hotel many times now , always traveling as a family group on motorcycles , this year it was my wife and I plus out 2 sons on 4 x motorcycles . the parking being secure for motorcycles is a real strong point and a consideration in all booking we do . the rooms were as always immaculate and the staff all very freindly

Staying at Hotel Dux is always something we look forward to! Once again it remains our favorite stay during our road trips thru Germany/Netherlands and Belgium:) From the minute I book accommodation at Hotel Dux, the interaction with this hotel meets all high standards that I expect! On arrival this experience of 'superb customer service' continues at the Reception Desk, Dining Room, Breakfast Table and Bar services! The rooms have all the amenities that a seasoned/demanding traveler could possibly require. The location is perfect in every way, and the private parking that is available is below the hotel!! The vibrant Town Square, located just behind Hotel Dux, with many different restaurants to choose from, bars, shops and of course the famous Gelato shop on the square is a 'must' for all ice cream lovers, adds to the pleasure of experiencing the warmth of the locals and their 'street culture.'

This hotel was amazing. The room was large and well designed, Bed was super comfy and huge. Linens were of a superior quality. Free mini bar. We had a room overlooking the river on the top floor and it was a beautiful view. Free mini bar. Location is excellent. Within 5 minutes walk there are numerous cafes shops and restaurants to choose from. A walk over the river takes you to the yacht harbour. This hotel is a must if you are staying in this area of the Netherlands. The breakfast was extensive and catered for everyone's taste. The underground car park is a must try!

I liked the car park and how you need to enter it. Very futuristic and convenient to park your car in the middle of the city center. The hotel is centrally located and easy to find. Furthermore the staff is very friendly

Well there are so much that I do like that there is nothing to complain about what I do not like of Hotel Dux. This hotel is just amazing in how they cater to their guests. It feels like a home away from home.

Arriving late in Roermond and being hungry is a combination to be avoided. Restaurant kitchens close at 8pm or 9pm. Our receptionist phoned up a restaurant (De Beers) and asked them to keep the kitchen open for us. Outstanding! Also, the hotel accepts dogs - another reason we chose this place.

Bizarre habit that (almost) no chefs in Roermond are prepared to work after 9pm...
