The best thing about the hotel is the location - it is nestled in a forest and is quiet and "out of the way." The hot tub is by far my favorite place in the hotel. You can sit in the outdoor hot tub with steam coming off the water while looking out over snowy forest and mountain views. It was breathtaking! The pool area is lovely as well, and the staff are incredible....almost too helpful. The breakfast was amazing every day and in such a gorgeous setting as well. There were yoga activities and kids activities during the day, and I enjoyed reading in the quiet lounges along the side of the hotel. I had a wonderful experience traveling around Shimla and Narkana and the surrounding areas - all set up by the helpful hotel concierge/staff. It was a heavenly vacation away from the bustle during Chinese New Year.

The only complaint I had was that there was not decent coffee in the rooms. They had little sachets of Nescafe, but for a better customer experience, they could have better coffeemakers with pods or at least the filter bags of coffee that are much more premium. They could also have better entertainment in the room (i.e. English movie TV channels, Netflix availability, etc.)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Wildflower Hall, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine smiles. Every team member was eager to assist, ensuring that we felt completely at home throughout our stay. There’s something special about how Oberoi properties consistently provide this level of service, but Wildflower Resort took it to another level. The food was another highlight of our trip. You can really taste the passion and love the chef puts into every dish. Every meal felt like it had been made just for us—delicious, comforting, and thoughtful. The staff serves the food with such warmth and care that it feels incredibly homely, making you want to indulge even more than you planned. It’s not just about dining; it’s an experience that elevates your entire stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and luxurious. We loved spending time there, unwinding and enjoying some binge-watching sessions. The property itself is expansive, serene, and stunningly peaceful. We took a wonderful hiking tour through the nearby forest, which allowed us to reconnect with nature in such a lovely, tranquil setting. The calm and beauty of the surroundings made it easy to unwind and enjoy every moment. I can’t wait to go back—it was truly a memorable escape, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT !!

I loved the way the staff welcomed us, also the main part was we were straight taken to our room for check in, didn't have to wait at the lobby while the check in is happening. Ambika is really nice, she was very helpful in answering all our queries and concerns in a calm way. Sumit the hotel manager was also very nice and good, the staff everyone was really nice to us, we felt very over happy, we were there to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and it wouldn't have been better in any other place.

There is nothing as such that we didnt like in the property, everything was really to the TOP.

Stunning beautifully appointed property. Warm welcome and excellent care by staff at all times. Lovely bar with open fire. Stunning pool and outdoor jacuzzi with draw dropping views. Our room was large and extremely comfortable with beautiful views towards the snow capped Himalayas. New Year’s gala dinner event was fun with attentive service, good food and wines (and many other drinks!) and an excellent live band. All meals were very good with a choice of places to sit which gives variety.

If you want to stay at this amazing property, you will have to contend with a c.45 minute drive to the centre of Shimla due to heavy traffic which is a little frustrating but a daily reality.

Excellent facilities and extremely attentive staff who go out of the way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. The outside breakfast area, the sunroom, and the Jacuzzi / Pool area have to be amongst the best anywhere in the world. We traveled with our 4 year old and the staff service and care was exceptional throughout the stay!

For shorter stays of 2-3 days everything is perfectly fine. However, for a longer stays, I think would be helpful to have some more activities for adults and possibly a little more diverse restaurant menu.

Wildflower Hall is amazing - it is hard to describe how incredible this place is - maybe the best proof is that I extended my stay from 6 days to 10 days The location is stunning, particularly the terrace for breakfast The swimming pool & very warm hot tub overlooking the mountains insane And the staff incredibly warm and generous The extra touches like tasty snacks in the room, beautiful gifts & incredible experience of a private lunch for two with a cinema and rose petals turned this from great too exceptional

The staff were very polite and helpful , the housekeeping staff as well as the F&B and front desk. The swimming pool and the Jacuzzi were excellent and we loved both. The restaurant had a good variety of tasty food and the forest trek near the hotel was also a great experience.

The picnic arrangements could have been better, especially the packed food. It was also a little more expensive than it should have been. It can be priced more reasonably.

Exceptional in every way. Breath taking location, exemplary attention to detail, diligent yet non intrusive service, superb food and facilities. An unforgettable experience for which the staff gets full marks.

It was an ordeal travelling from Shimla to the hotel due to traffic jams caused by road works. Beyond the control of the hotel but it took 1.5 hours to travel 15 kms on a Saturday evening.

The property and the views were heavenly. But what made the experience truly pleasurable was the staff - everyone was so nice and so focused on ensuring we have a good time. The service in all aspects was top notch. Food was great! And there are plenty of in house activites to keep one occupied. It's a must do!
