Location

Well, it was noisy a bit. There is a backery which starts working at about 3:00 a.m. Nothing extra bad, people are doing their work, backing breads. But it can disturb if you do not sleep wery deeply. The shower equipment needs a revision - it was difficult to maintain the constant water temperature. Privat parking was advertised, but to get we had to be quite presistant.

The location was perfect, was within walking distance to everything we needed. Staff was so charming and kind. we enjoyed their hospitality greatly! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome!!! They were also very helpful with directions on where to visit surrounding small towns and vineyards. Breakfast was served each morning and it was an assortment of breads, croissants, yogurt and cereals, fresh fruit and juices and meat and cheese. It was a feast for 2 people. We will absolutely be coming back! They also have a wide selection of some of the best wines in Piedmont — we ended up shipping back 12 to the United States. Visiting Alba was one of our favorite stops on our trip!

The service was exceptional. We were late and hadn’t had mobile reception to check messages. The ‘receptionist’/manager kindly stayed and waited for us to arrive without a complaint. In fact, we were received with a friendly smile and helpfulness.

Location was really good, parking included made it very easy in the old town area. The room was clean and beautiful, and the owners Filipa and Gaja are very nice people, and their staff as well. Breakfast is amazing!!

Wifi connection is not working in the room, and the TV broke down on the 3 day of our stay

The room was very clean and spacious and close to all shops and restaurants and the river. There was a lot of variety to choose from breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking was excellent. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Vinoteca very much. There are two rooms available for rent right above the Vinoteca. The property is located next to the dome in Alba and so you can reach everything by foot. Plenty of great restaurants nearby or you can eat at the property and definitely sample some of their wide selection of wines. The room itself was very clean, comfortable bed, they offer free and secure parking directly at the building…and breakfast was a nice small selection of different things such as ham, cheese, sweets, fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly and check in and check out were easy and uncomplicated. The price is standard for Alba and considering you have parking and breakfast included (and nothing extra was charged for our dog) it is a good deal. The neighborhood is a lively one, but it was nice and quiet after about 11 pm, so for us not a problem to sleep.

Everything was great, I personally would have loved to have a water kettle and tea in the room. Maybe the owners could add that?
