This is the second time we have stayed at this location and for the most part it is wonderful. The only things that were less than perfect were the room layout and the food at breakfast. A king suite with a pull out sofa bed was one of 2 room styles available. The desk has been put running across the middle of the room about 2 feet beyond the foot of the bed. It's just awkward and looks like a bruise waiting to happen for someone going to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The food at breakfast was....... okay. One choice of hot eggs (with onion and peppers) sausage that isn't what most people would think of as breakfast sausage and red skinned potatoes. One flavor of coffee creamer. Very basic bread products. Just nothing that was "wow" and for almost $300, it seems like different choices could be made.

We always try to get a king suite if one is available. We don't like to have to sit on the bed in a room and most other rooms only have one regular chair and a desk chair. Along with the sofa that the room had, there was also a nice desk chair and an ottoman that would work for seating. The extra space in the room was exceptional. We also really liked that there was a separate area with a wet bar for the fridge and microwave. It's nice not to have to go into the bathroom for water if someone else is in there. Overall a very well-thought out room.

I have stayed here multiple times. Every time is a great stay. The staff is always amazing. Sydney was running the front desk and was absolutely amazing! She has great people skills! The hotel is always clean. The property is beautifully maintained. Can’t wait until my next stay.

The only thing I could say was a negative was one of the window shades didn’t operate in my room. There were two windows on my room so it was not an issue for me.

The property was right off the highway so it was extremely accessible. The accommodations were very clean and extremely comfy. Staff was very friendly.

It is a little pricey. The room was mostly accessible; just constructive criticism… if you need any kind of support to lift yourself in the restroom… there was not a place for that… the counter had a movable piece that would not be good for support. Unfortunately the pool was closed when we were there but u also did not call ahead to verify. As we were passing through… not an issue. All in all an amazing and comfortable stay. We really enjoyed our stay!!

We very much liked the breakfast, the room, and bed. The staff was excellent- very friendly and extremely helpful - front desk to breakfast staff to cleaning crew. Mikayla from the front desk responded immediately when we had a couple of small issues. She went above and beyond to promptly and cheerfully help us with a battery change in our door lock and a TV issue.

Even after being helped our room refrigerator did not work at all. Since we were traveling it would have been most helpful to be able to chill our car drinks.

It was exactly as expected, two queen beds no visible bed bugs, working AC, quiet, nice selection of snacks in the lobby, breakfast spread was good. All the usual things you'd expect from the Hampton Inn line of hotels.

The top floor room carpet felt damp, perhaps from humidity, but not moldy. The sheets and towels didn't smell especially clean. We are not fans of the rolling door for the closet/bathroom. It is heavy and not very private for using the bathroom. I'd rather an open/no door closet and regular door to the bathroom.

The staff was absolutely the best! All were extremely helpful and personable! Jasmin and Willow and there were several others I hate I didn’t get there names, but everyone working during my stay was awesome. I travel for work a lot so it can make long trips much better when people are so pleasant!! Can’t say enough good things! Thank you!

I have traveled much in my career, and few hotels really stand out. For this one, the entire staff was beyond exceptional. From friendliness to courtesy to helpfulness (and going beyond the norm), the entire staff was memorable. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would give the staff of the Hampton Inn & Suites at Walterboro a 12 (even an 11 wouldn’t be enough).

Clean and updated. Very comfortable bed and quiet a/c. Bathroom was well appointed. Would have like a make up mirror, but otherwise perfect. Excellent breakfast. Nice to have a Cracker Barrell across the parking lot. Very nice stay.

Blow dryer was a little hot and possibly should be replaced, but not a big dea.

Our room was large and comfortable. Our original room had a very noisy HVAC unit so we were moved to a much better room. Unfortunately, it was much closer to I 95 and road noise was an issue. The breakfast was very good.

Road noise was a problem with a room on the east end of the building.
