Newly renovated with a modern flair. Bar in lobby which I didn’t go to but was nice to have the option for a nightcap after traveling all day. Breakfast was available but I left before it was served.

There is a good sized gap between the curtain and front window. If someone walked by they could look in and with the reflection of the hanging mirror, see directly to the bed. Kind of creepy for a female solo traveler. I wrapped the curtain around the door handle to close off the gap. Also, out loud the front desk agent asked if I was alone. She was very nice but that is not appropriate when others are around.

The staff and check in was very easy and the fresh cookies and coffee were terrific. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. It was very nice that they had a full service bar as well as the area for breakfast. PS.... If you want a terrific sitdown dinner, go to Harold's Country Club. Maybe a 10 minute drive and totally off beat and AMAZING!!! (FYI: the term "country club" is tonguge in cheek!) Food is only serviced Thurs., Fri, and Sat. nights.

The room where b'fast was served had very limited seating and the tables/ seating was crowded up against the serving line. Almost claustrophobic. There were elderly couples who could not sit on the high top table stools and there were not enough tables/ chairs for them and for families with young children.

this is not a 5 start hotel, but it certainly exceeded expectations in it's own category. I think for travelers driving up/down 95 this was best in class for an overnight stay. Front desk staff was very nice and accomodating for extra requests. Property was very clean, very safe, and comfortable. Front desk went out of its way to accomodate our pet. And I must say, pet fee was very reasonable. Also next mornings breakfast was better than most. We had warm scrambled eggs, make your own waffles, bacon, sausage on top of a typical continental breakfast. Coffee was really really good! Attention to small details impressed me. We received a courtesy call 10 minutes after checking into the room to make sure everything was in good working order. The room had a coffee maker with good coffee, ironing board and iron, safe, refridgerator, smart tv, and good linens. And it was very clean! Kudos to Karen and her trainer at the front desk. They were a pleasure to deal with. We will visit again.

check in was a little longer than usual, but I think that was because they were training new staff.

The indoor pool is in a separate building so you have to go outside to get to it, but it is very nice and large. It is bigger than any hotel pool that I can recall.

There wasn't clear instructions for using the pool, like where to get towels. We had to go to front desk to ask and then the person (probably training and new) didn't know where to get them and looked confused. Another worker helped and it was no big deal as everyone has to be a new worker at one time.

Designated pool house is great tho water is cooold. Pool is huge! Breakfast was superb! Room was reasonably clean, 55" TV. Location is convenient to interstate.

Flimsy security chain on room door. Door sweep broken leaving visible light from outside (& bugs to crawl thru). King bed springs are sprung-worn out bed. No towels in the pool house. Sofa cushions flat.

Clean comfortable helpful staff. Great am breakfast. Nice pool inside. Laundry facility on site. Roomy room with big screen tv. Deep bath tub shower. During breakfast some items were not available due to motel shipments missing but not due to their part. So the two breakfast staffers went out of their way to give different items as needed when regular breakfast items were out. The housekeepers were outstanding to make sure we had what we needed for our stay. Second visit staying there. I highly recommend this motel to stay.

I truly can’t say one thing that I disliked.

Great location, dog friendly, recently renovated. Loved not having to walk through a lobby and use an elevator with a pet. Parking directly in front of room. Clean with nice bedding.

Although renovated, the room still smelled of smoke and was somewhat humid/damp. Thin walls, a little noisy. Could use an upgrade in towels.

our king bed was comfortable. Space in the room was very comfortable with a love seat sofa. The air conditioning was cold comfortable to set our own temperature. There was a humidifier which circulated the air in our room with adjusting temperature to. Nice deep bath tub shower. Area was good with several restaurants to walk if needed. The free breakfast was really good. The food was hot. There was cold food in refrigerator. Enough different choices to eat for all family members.

The water pressure was low in the bathtub/ shower But the water was hot for good bath or shower.

Easy access from the highway. Pet friendly. Attentive and responsive staff. Clean room. Free parking. Breakfast included. Coin laundry is available. The hotel met our expectations.

The breakfast room was a little crowded—no tables or chairs for everybody..although this was exactly at 8 am.. before or after that time, it is fine.

The facility shows some wear; however, it was clean, everything worked as it should (shower, toilet, TV, frig, etc.), and was truly pet friendly. The staff was pleasant and professional. The breakfast staff put out a VERY GOOD, and tasteful, selection of breakfast items, including fresh scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and grits. The breakfast staff was just as attentive as the the desk staff.
