The location is great: plenty of eating options within walking distance: Forehouse Subs is literally in the same lot as the hotel, Starbucks, a grocery store, and one of my favorite spots in Beaufort (Urban Brew) is a short walk away. Culvers, Chik-fil-a and several other eateries are nearby. The room is gorgeous, roomy, and comfortable. I loved the walk-in closet and the size of the bathroom. And the rate during the week is a steal.

As gorgeous as the property is, there were some distinct things I noticed. Houskeeping/cleanliness wise, the property in the general areas I came across weren't well kept. There floors were noticeably dirty in need of mopping and shine; the elevators were smudgy and there was always something spilt in the elevator. Being there for business, I'm always in need of a good iron. I had to go through three irons there. The first two wouldnt get hot enough and the water leaked out. The third worked the first day, but the second day when I put a small amount of water in it leaked, oozing brown.

The bathroom was very nice. Everything was very modern and convenient. Plenty of room. We had a king size bed, a couch, a desk, the TV swiveled so it could be seen from either the couch or the bed, refrigerator and microwave.

The room we were in the mattress probably needed to be turned it sagged on the side that I slept on so I woke up with hip pain. Also, I slept on the side that faced the window which the air return was under it and it blew in my face all night . It would be helpful if they bought maybe some type of plastic cover to flow the air up instead of out so it would not blow on you. I guess I am surprised that other people have not complained about that and that they have not already done something about it. When we checked the fan was on low and it's still blew enough that you could feel it laying in the bed

The property is on the main road therefore everything is easily accessible. Also, SOME of the clerks were very nice and accommodating. We had to attend our son’s graduation from Marine Basic Training, and instead of us checking out at 630 am when we initially left the hotel, we were given an extended check out time to come back and rest before getting on the road to Myrtle Beach.

The way the room is setup is a bit odd. The television is on the right when you first open the door, while the bed is to the left. It was nearly impossible to watch. Also, had my husband not asked about WiFi a few hours after we checked in, no one would have told us that if you log in with your room number/last name (as you do at other hotels) you will be charged for internet. The woman at the front desk seemed as if I was bothering her when I called to confirm this.

The staff was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. The room was clean and a good size, providing a nice microwave and refrigerator. The mattresses were very comfortable. Finally, parking was more than sufficient.

The sofa in the room was most uncomfortable for sitting. A more traditional style would be much better. Therefore, it was difficult to have a comfortable and convenient are to watch TV.

Still fairly new hotel. Very clean and spacious rooms. Bathroom was spacious too. Microwave and fridge in room was a plus. Hot breakfast. There was waffles, pork sausage patties, scrambled eggs, grits, whole fruits, cereal, bagels,muffins, yogurt, toppings for the waffles and a griddle that makes 4 small individual waffles, etc…Staff was friendly. Small selection of beer & wine. Near pretty much all of the restaurants, gas stations, & shopping. Close to the military bases as well. Really nice. I highly recommend.

Not much to choose from in the marketplace as far as a midnight snack or something but there’s gas stations and grocery stores really close by.

The room is huge and super clean. It's one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The location is perfect for all of the attractions at Beaufort.

The only negative thing was the settings on the refrigerator. I put my drinks in there thinking they would get cold. They didn't. Its on floor level and since I'm 75 yrs old I couldn't see the settings. I wish I would have brought a little flashlight 😆

The property is very clean, quiet and comfortable. Every single space of the room was utilized. I would suggest a clothes hook in the bathroom. Can walk to any type of food you would like including an Irish Pub, Foodlion grocery store, Outback Steakhouse, Mexican, Tai food, and Wet Willie’s. Very good location from the Waterfront.

Breakfast definitely needs Splenda for the coffee and tea. Pool is incredibly small but the beach is close by.

Beautiful modern, spacious comfortable room. Very clean. Super comfy bed. Lovely reception staff and the lovely man clearing in the breakfast area.

Man laying out breakfast was a little rude when asking for items as buffet was empty. Breakfast was good but needs more work to keep topped up. In fairness it was a busy morning but at one point the buffet was practically empty. (No bread items, muffins' sausage patties, yoghurt, cream cheese.) Pool was closed but very small anyway.

Good selection for breakfast. Attendant was very helpful. Facility very clean. The entire staff at Marriott was Extremely pleasant and helpful. The friendliness of the staff was the most outstanding part of our stay.

The only issue we had was the Bed ! It felt OK at first but went down a few inches and became hard like a board. If the bed had been better the review would have been all 10's ! Cheap beds can spoil a stay.

Pool was tiny & COLD.. Check in through Booking .com was some how a mess??? ..girl wasn’t interested in trying to help..actually left me standing at the desk.told me to call booking...finally by some miracle ?? She found the reservation..I had all numbers and written confirmation that I presented & was paid for ..2rooms..never did actually talk to booking .com..
