Always a great time. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Free pool party on Tuesdays. Short bike or shuttle ride to the beach. Good grills and cooking facilities and close to many great restaurants. We've been coming for years and plan to continue.

The worst that happened to us was that there was a mattress pad left on the sofa bed (but a new one in the cabinet) and someone had left their clothes in a drawer.

The staff at check in was very accommodating because we needed a unit on the ground floor for one of our family members. Their elevator was not working for the original unit we were supposed to have. We were pleased that they made the effort to make the change. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable with fresh bedding. We had plenty of towels including towels for the pool. The grounds of Island Links are beautiful and well maintained. We liked the pool--especially the smaller one where there was more shade and less activity. The Island Links was a quiet, relaxing place for the family.

The unit's dishwasher had been removed leaving a mess on the kitchen floor as well as water that was leaking under the sink. We cleaned up the dirt in the space where the dishwasher had been, mopped up the water and put a bowl under the drip to keep it from spilling out into the floor. We were only there for 3 days so we just reported the problem when we checked out. We didn't need the dishwasher so corrected the problem ourselves. Having someone come in to clean up the mess would have just been an invasion of our privacy during the short time we were there. This wouldn't be a problem for most guests. I don't think the staff realized there was a problem when they were trying to find us a ground floor unit. You have to drive to the beach or take their shuttle. It's a couple of miles away.

The amenities were great! The pools and hot tub were clean. The heated pool was really nice even when the high temperature was only in the mid to high 60's. The rooms were very clean and exceptionally large for the 4 people that we had. All interactions with the staff were pleasant.

Uh, the weather when we went? It's about a mile or so to the beach, but we actually wanted that because we went at the end of March and knew the average high temp was around 70. So we didn't want as much wind.

I was told there was 2 spots outside my unit for parking. It’s a free for all you have to find a spot. My unit had a screen door off the track and just needed updating. Beds we’re comfortable. Also the person at the main office asked me if my husband was joining me or if I had any couples so they could talk to us about a time share. When I told her I was there with my 3 daughters she showed no interest. I am a professional and independent. I thought that was out of line.

Liked the pool, the rooms were big. Maintenance came right away when needed.

The way you have to go through one of the rooms to get to the one bathroom. Made it a little awkward for 3 families to share. Saw a few roaches in the room. Told the front desk about something gross smeared on all the walls of the elevator and they said they’d get it tomorrow.

Always our favorite resort at Hilton Head, it is why we keep coming back. And let’s not forget the sweet friendly kitties that roam the property, especially Morris.

Price has risen too much too quickly. Just wish it wasn’t 322 miles one way.

The property was nice. The room was spacious. The pool was great. Everything on the property was within walking distance. There was a shuttle to the beach provided. This was very convenient. Drissen Beach was less than a 5 minute ride.

There was evidence of the last visitors left in the room. We found sunflower seeds and plastic wrappers on the floor. There are no hotels located on the beach therefore, there were no poolside bars to get food or drinks. Make sure you pack a small cooler. I am glad we brought a cooler.

Spacious, We had 5 kids in our group and didn’t feel over crowded! Very clean, and the clubhouse staff were welcoming. The pools are great too & there is a hot tub as well.

My only complaint is there is no beach acess path, you have to drive to the beach but at least it is a very short drive!

Quiet and convenient. Spacious rooms and fully equipped.

This is second time that stayed here and on checkout day cleaning lady wanted access to our room before check out time. This time she did not knock and entered room with key at 9:30 when check out is 10:00.

The Villa was what we expect from high ratings.

The Villa was on the second floor that made it more difficult for those with bad knees. No elevator in this villa. Some had them. I would stay again but only if it were the first floor or had an elevator. The bathtub was slippery and is a fall hazard. I am surprised that sandpaper strips were not there.
