Everything.From the moment we arrived until we left all staff were the most pleasant engaging happy humourous people to meet. Food was of the highest quality with special touch of cheese and desert board each night. Special mention out to "Tyler" our breakfast server what a laugh we had with him . outstanding.young fellow. The building whilst old made of wood creaking floor only added to its charm and character and you get the feel for years gone past but still possessed modern tech things but sensitively done .

Possibly breakfast could have been a bit quicker but then we all have to learn to slow down and soak in the atmosphere.

A beautiful, restored and well maintained historic home with a wonderful staff. Location is right in the heart of the city and a brief walk to the waterfront.

The only negative was in changing our original dates (Friday the 9th-Sunday the 11th) to (Sunday the 11th-Tuesday the 13th) due to TS Debby. I made the request for the change through Booking.com and Booking showed the request and a changed rate of roughly $90 to my good. Then later Booking shows the request denied. However in talking directly to the Rhett House they advised that the change in dates (which had to come through Booking) had been accepted and they were expecting us on the 11th. So it would be nice and appropriate for me to see a $90 credit on my card for the confusion and hassle that Booking was entirely responsible for.

Property is in great location. Well maintained. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful. Server was very good. We always go to Old Bull Tavern. It is consistent,great atmosphere and the food is terrific. The Inn is historical, rooms are well decorated. Sets a good atmosphere that sets tone for the town.

This is typically our go to place when driving north. Beaufort is a beautiful town to visit. This visit was not as friendly as prior. When staff said they were going to do something they did not follow through.Shower was cold and didn’t warm up. No body lotion supplied. Container was empty. When letting front desk know there response was we know ? I hope this is just a one off. Other than that we still live this place.

The evening cheese and cracker tray for guests is a very nice touch as is the nightly dessert—which is always delicious. Robin is an exceptionally friendly staff member. Housekeeping did a nice job refreshing the room during our stay.

The breakfast at the Inn is very good, but both days it took an exceptionally long time to get our food. The last day it was close to 30-35 minutes. As we were headed home that day, it delayed us from our planned departure time. The front porch of the Inn is a wonderful place to sit and have a glass of wine and talk with other guests, but the rattan furniture is really starting to show wear as are the black and white cushions and outdoor carpet at the seating area. All should be refreshed to make the veranda even more welcoming. Cushions on the rocking chairs at the cottages would be a nice touch as well.

Full of Southern hospitality and charm. We felt coddled and TLCd. It was a lovely old home, very nicely appointed with comfortable bed and furnishings. All of the staff were very pleasant and helpful with dining aand activity suggestions. The full morning breakfast was spectacular, and our waiter, Mark, was superb. Complementary use of their bicycles was an added perk that was truly appreciated and made our morning exploration of the town of Beaufort very enjoyable. Our only regret is that we checked in late and missed partaking in the beautiful pies that were provided in the evening due to going out for a late supper. We stayed in room 3, the Barbara Streisand room.

Showerheads could be improved. Low flow volume in an open type shower was not conducive to a steamy hot shower. This may be due to water saving type showerheads.

It's truly a gem...really southern hospitality at its bes...all the staff were absolutely amazing..we spent 3 nights and extended a 4th. Amazing breakfast on the verranda is so relaxing...close to the center of town..nice enough walk..would definitely go back..well done Rhett house..The small add one are a great touch... hot fresh cookies in the afternoon..5pm cheese and crackers..After a night out desserts are waiting..in our case was put in our room asked our preference..You really cannot beat the kindness the staff show..

We had always wanted to visit Beaufort and picked the Rhett House for our one-night stay. The Inn is a beautiful old Southern inn. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Snacks are provided, cookies and cheese and crackers, and the breakfast, that we enjoyed outside on the porch, was delicious. Bikes are available and they also had complimentary beach chairs and towels for us when we went to the beach. It is located on a quiet street but still close to the downtown area. We really enjoyed our visit.

Breakfast was perfectly cooked and delicious. The location is perfect for walking downtown and the bay areas. Staff was always friendly and helpful, regardless of whether the front desk, cooks , etc.

I forgot to mention it to the staff but the fridge in room 12 isn't working although the small freezer was. And the bedside outlets did not work with the lights off. We just unscrewed the bulbs.

Breakfast was great. Amenities were great

Whoever was on check In Tuesday at 11:00. She was rude and unwelcoming. Told us park passes were gone, the three passes are first come first served and it would only save us $8, Asked about bikes and if we could get to the trail from the Inn and she said no. We asked if she had a map, she said no and we could google it. Her attitude was very curt and unhelpful. Thankfully she was no longer there when we came back for check in at 3. Every other staff was very kind, welcoming, and helpful. The kind of service you would expect.

Such a charming place. The breakfast was wonderful. I ate on the veranda and enjoyed the view. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The cottage where I stayed was immaculate and well appointed. My only issue was with the hot water in the shower which was Luke warm and never got hot. It’s also a pet friendly place. I would stay here again for sure. Parking on street was available in front of my cottage.

The hot water issue is the only reason my rating is not a 10.
