Great location; easy walking distance to center of historic downtown. Fantastic renovation of older motel into a very nice upscale artsy space. Inhouse coffee, bar, and bakery terrific ... especially chocolate chip cookies on door knob when returned from dinner in town. No hesitation to return again !

Parking OK, but a bit tight when all spots full .. but good that parking provided in are where almost all parking is on street.

The location is amazing, just a short walk to the waterfront park and a ton of shops, restaurants, and museums. We were provided with coupons for each day of our stay to use at the coffee shop, more than enough to cover two daily drip coffees. The staff was delightfully friendly and we loved the little touch of leaving a little baggie of cookies on the door every evening with the next days weather. We'd absolutely stay here again.

We stayed in the peak of summer, and the wall unit couldn't quite keep up. It was a little uncomfortably warm and difficult to get a good night's sleep. We'd have appreciated a ceiling fan to circulate the air a little better. The toilet was also a little short, which didn't bother me (I'm 5'5") but my 5'11" partner found it a little uncomfortable.

This hotel is beautifully done. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and the bathroom is gorgeous, with a nice big bathtub. It is a great location, nears bars and restaurants and shops. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. They give you a bag every night with the weather report for the next day and 2 cookies. The gym has everything you need and there is a coffee shop attached to the building with delicious coffee and treats. They also sell beer and wines d they leave a bottle of red and white wine in the room for purchase. We will definitely be back!

This hotel is right in downtown on a busy road. I was not bothered by it but there is traffic noise early.

The whole experience was great. The shower with the extra shower heads in the ceiling was amazing. It washed the dirt off of .e from the 2nd grade. Lol. And the sweet personal touches of the fresh baked cookies on our door every night made out anniversary trip exactly what we needed. 10/10 recommend. We will definetly be back.

The only thing we didn't like was we couldn't stag longer.

This boutique hotel is a solid ten with the exception of two things. The bed is scrumptious but VERY high. As a person past 55, it was very difficult getting in and out of. Location was great with cafes all around and easy walk to the waterfront but it was very noisy with car traffic. Light sleepers may have an issue. That said, I will stay there again.

We would definitely stay here again! The owners have done a wonderful job rehabing the original motel (I assume!) into an upscale hotel. The shop on site had simple but very good breakfast options as well as cocktails and wine. The location was fabulous, within walking distance to everything downtown Beaufort has to offer.

Very clean rooms with large, nice bathrooms. Dual shower heads and bench in shower. Overall, wonderful location in the heart of downtown Beaufort about 1 1/2 blocks to the waterfront, restaurants, beautiful old houses. Also has its own coffee shop, we didn’t realize until leaving that you have 2 free coffees waiting for you there. Super nice and helpful staff. Free loaner bikes available out front.

Room was great. Very comfortable king bed. Huge bathtub and large walk in shower. Loved the location. Extremely convenient to restaurants, marina and shops in downtown Beaufort. The young lady working the front desk was very efficient and pleasant. Coffee shop had excellent coffee, breads and muffins.

Great staff, room very clean, nice bathroom with soaker tub! They also have a coffee shop attached with cocktails as well. Our location was terrific, walking distance through downtown with restaurants and shops. Our 1st trip to Beaufort, would stay with City Loft again, enjoyed it!

The location was ideal. The beds were super comfortable and the bathroom was great.

I am suffering from acute bursitis and walking up the stairs to the lobby was difficult. I think that would be my only complaint. I’d like a small trash can in the bathroom.
