I loved the historical significance The Beaufort Inn had to offer. I loved that we stayed in a cottage style facility. We had our own balcony overlooking a quiet street. The shower was huge, the bed was very comfortable and the room was larger than most hotel rooms. There are a lot of other historical cottages on the property that you can choose from. Great for tourists. All the shops and restaurants are in walking distance. The Beaufort Inn offers it's own reserved parking so you won't have a problem finding a parking spot. Most of all, the staff gave us a good, warm, southern hospitality welcome.

Well, as I will hate to say, I did not like that the courtyard lights stayed on all night. It may not worry some people but I'm one of those that can see the lights from the alarm clock through my eyelids.

Handicapped room provided for us when neither of us were handicapped. Had to return to front office in order to get instruction on lights in the room. Hair dryer not in room which required another walk to the office. Should have been an extra roll of toilet paper provided in room- we barely made it!!!

Beautiful old historic home with all the charm you could want but with modern ameneties. We stayed in the Caretakers Cottage that had everything you could need for a comfirtable stay.

Would be great if the Inn started offering its own breakfast rather than having to go to a local place but the food at the places offered by the vouchers was great.

My friends & I were traveling to a conference & I wanted to show them Beaufort on the way. The Inn was perfect for their first experience in Southern charm and hospitality. The grounds and rooms are lovely, well appointed, welcoming and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location couldn't be better.

I suppose it's because the place is so large they don't offer breakfast on the premises (you get a voucher for a choice of restaurants), and that's okay, but I miss the congeniality of that, and the wine and cheese and/or cookies and milk in the evening that so many places offer.

The property was beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a perfect location. Unfortunately the weather turned cold and we weren’t able to enjoy the exterior which was lovely.

Because it was very cold outside we wanted to put a little heat in the room and was unable to. It was so cold ( freezing!) inside the room and bathroom. With no breakfast at the property we were given vouchers to a restaurant close by, for the price we paid, breakfast should have been included.

I loved the room, the people and location. I really loved that they hooked us up with some discounts for things we were going to do anyways. The staff was great and we loved the beauty of the inn.

the only way it could of been better is if they gave us a winning lottery ticket.

The main part of the Inn is a well restored old home, the surrounding cottages add a level of quaintness to the property. The bicycles were a great addition for guests to borrow and right around town. Breakfast at 2 local restaurants was also very nice, coupons to use at both locations.

Loved terrace where we had sundowners and chats with other hotel guests.

Giving us a $10 voucher for breakfast that was ‘included in the price’ is an insult and it would have cost them very little more to ensure our breakfast cost was covered.

Everything is walking distance of your room, only a block or two! The best breakfast is across the street, Blackstone's Café! Lunch and dinner restaurants dining is overlooking the beautiful park, sail boats and the Beaufort Memorial Bridge which spins vs raising up like most bridges allowing sail boats through, neat to see. There are relaxing swings overlooking all of this in the park as well.

Rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Very courteous and helpful. They had a nice lounge area downstairs where they provided complimentary coffee, tea and bottled water. We couldn’t ask for a better location. The vouchers for breakfast worked out great because one person in our party was a late sleeper and wouldn’t have been up in time for a set meal.
