Lovely hotel close to the centre of Vigo and attractions .Friendly staff

The breakfast was good on th first day of our stay with scrambled eggs and bacon ,second no cooked option, third day the eggs and bacon looked as though they had been left over from the first day . Bacon was so greasy and burnt and eggs congealed. But good apart from that minor issue

We spent one night at the Silken Axis Vigo, a modern 4-star boutique hotel in the heart of Vigo, and overall, it was a great experience, earning an 8/10 from us. The location is very good, just a short walk from Centro Principe and the historic district, making it perfect for exploring the city’s shops, restaurants, and attractions like Castro Fortress. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a large, cozy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in and offering useful tips about the area. The hotel’s rooftop infinity pool looked inviting, though we didn’t have time to enjoy it during our brief stay. Overall, Silken Axis Vigo provided a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and we’d recommend it to travelers looking for a central, modern hotel in Vigo

The only downside was the parking garage, which had very tight angles that made maneuvering our car a bit challenging, especially for larger vehicles. Despite this, the convenience of onsite parking was still appreciated.

Very clean. Staff is very friendly and really helpfull! Location is great : just in 3 min walking from the main bus line to the airport and the oldtown. The area is good for shopping and dining. Nice rooftop bar. Breakfast is very good and deliciuos: good variety, very fresh, great selection!

The interior in a room and bathroom should be renewed. Some amenities would significantly increase the comfort of the stay, especially a bottle of water in a room a coffee machine, hair confitioner which is usual for a 4 star hotel.

The room was a very good size and well equipped with a comfortable bed. The bath was of the over the bath type, however, the bath was wide with low sides so this was not a problem. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. There is a great view of the sunset from the rooftop pool bar.

The hotel advertises a pool. This is on top of the hotel and is extremely small in size and not really for swimming in. The area around it forms part of the roof top bar so not everybody would feel comfortable sitting out there in the sun. The quality of the breakfast was not really 4 star and not in keeping with the room and general ambience of the hotel.

We liked the gym a lot as it has 6 floors and everything you can imagine. The staff at hotel reception who were very helpful and interesting with suggestions. The hotel itself is very centrical and you can easily walk around Vigo centre.

The staff by the pool told us we were not allowed to sit in an area as there needed to be a minimum of 4 people - it only sat 4 people and we were 3. But it worked out well as l didn't spend any money buying drinks by the pool and instead went to the gym which was amazing.

Central location. Very comfortable, clean room, lovely bathroom. We were able to check in early which was helpful.

Breakfast. When we went to eat breakfast the “hot” food, scrambled eggs, were pretty dire, dried out & very unappetising. One of the staff, when we pointed this out reluctantly said he would cook fresh eggs for us. After a wait of 30 minutes nothing arrived so we gave up. The guy was busy in the public cafe/bar serving customers as we checked out. A real shame as all other aspects of our stay were very good.

A beautiful room and a beautiful hotel My room was decorated in an African theme carefully thought out in my view A wonderful open terrace with two chairs and a table A coffee machine in the room was welcomed as was the mini bar I loved the rooftop swimming pool and bar The staff member was attentive and helpful A nice standard breakfast as expected The hotel lived up to my expectations ..which are high Not far from the Camino route

Location was fine, near the shopping street and the pedestrian street to old city. There is a pool with a bar on the upper terrace, very nice view. We had complimentary cofee pills for the machine in the forst day but not in the second day.

It was strange to have bathroom walls made of transparent glass, somewhat inconfortable. But it was better than the first room offered, which had practically no window! Wi-fi is very weak. Scheduled working hours for the pool are irregular.

They were extremely kind and let me stay another night during the 28th electricity blackout, even if I could not pay at the time. They also went out of their way to make their guests comfortable, with candle lights everywhere and improvised meals as best they could. I am very grateful. Other than that, location, breakfast and rooms (great matress!) are superb.

Very nice room with large comfy bed, good mattress. Central location with easy access to shopping area and good bars and restaurants. Parking at hotel was a bonus.

Toilet/shower room was glass walled and open to the room. No privacy!
