Perfect location, beachfront Nice swimming pool Excellent breakfast Island shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel

We booked sea view room but we got a room overlooking the dunes and the roof of the building, with side limited sea view. The reception wasn’t really understanding and helpful- only the day after the shift manager tried explaining that it’s booking.com flaw because (inaccurate description) and offered us small price deduction. Nice gesture but didn’t really compensate for the see view experience loss. The room soundproof is not ideal - we could hear the neighbors, all night long. The restaurant staff was not very professional and accommodating, was rather overpriced and mediocre food -poor value for money. Kids club/activities would’ve been nice. (There’s only a very small kids/baby corner at the restaurant area which is handy)

I liked the whatsapps messages giving further information. The breakfast was amazing and the view was outstanding!! I loved the location being so close to the beach/sea. The staff were amazing and accommodated to all our needs

The only problem I had was the room whirlpool bath. This was very dirty and when I ran a bath and turned on the whirl pool function there was a lot of dirt that came out. I had to refill the bath twice and clean to remove to a point I could use the whirlpool.

The hotel is located right on the sand dunes facing both the beach and the forest behind. Facilities including the rooms are recently updated. There are still some indications that this hotel has been here for a long time entertaining beachside holiday makers, but that in my opinion adds to its charm. Staff were very friendly. Pool and wellness areas were very nice additions especially on a rainy winters day. The sauna's were really large, with plenty of room to soak up the heat.

the property is in a perfect location. it is on the beach. there is a bus that takes you to the hotel.

the hallway towards the rooms is not airconditioned and gets incredibly hot. opening the back door is a safety issue especially when you do not deliver on a promise of a safe in the room.

The room had an excellent view of the beach and was perfectly positioned to watch the sunset. The room had plenty of space, the bathroom was well equipped and spacious. The room was very clean when we checked in. The breakfast was very good. The location is absolutely perfect next to the beach

The airconditioning in the room was broken, and it was very hot in the room. However, to be fair to the hotel, our stay wason the first exceptionally hot days of the year, and they offered a discount on the room with no argument as compensation, and the staff were very pleasant to deal with regarding the matter.

I like the spacious room, amazing view, beautiful location, and the superb facilities such as bowling alley. We really enjoyed our long weekend gateway in Vlieland.

The hotel is a bit old and may need updating in its architectural design. However our room is modern and very clean. So it's okay.

This hotel is situated right on the beach and just 20 minutes walk from the harbour, where the boat arrives. Lugagges are transported free of charge directly after you arrival and that is very convenient. Do you wish to take a bus then its also possible. We had a nice spacious room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was very nice en plenty of possibilities to chose from. We used the swimming pool and sauna facilities (for an extra charge) and both facilities have definitely added value to this hotel.

The only small thing was that the room get quite warm in de night, we turned down the heater and opened the window but was still quite warm, eventhough it is just april and quite a cold weather outside.

Great location right by the beach, comfortable and spacious rooms, easy access by bike to the main village of the island.

The swimming pool is indoor only. While this must be great in colder days, on a hot summer day it’s impossible to stay in the pool area, because it’s too hot.

The room was spacious, light and modern. Location was the best , on the beach! Breakfast was good, enough choice of healthy food.

The choice of menu was limited in the restaurant. An addition of healthy or vegan choices would be good.

The hotel is near a beautiful beach and not to far from the center. It’s possible to walk there.

There’s no air conditioning and no fridge in the room. Also the mattress wasn’t that comfortable.
