This hotel is a little boutique hotel located in a quiet area of private villas in a little town Massa (Roncha). Hotel is very new, modern and tastefully decorated. Nice pool and absolutely stunning territory: big green park with facilities to make sports, sunbath, play for kids and relax. We had a room with balcony overlooking the pool - room is nice and spacious. Breakfasts were good, nice to seat outdoors. In general you can feel like at your own villa, so relaxing. To the beach clubs you can go by foot about 15-20 min, or drive by car. Most of the beach clubs have their own parking and hotel have also its big parking. This is not Forte dei Marmi itself, to Forte you have to drive around 15 min.

The location of the hotel is great, rooms are clean the staff and the breakfast are perfect. I highly recommend it. If you are going to visit this area, it is a great hotel to stay at. I have no criticism. I have difficulty understanding those who criticize this hotel. I think the hotel belongs to the legendary Italian goalkeeper Buffon. If I am not mistaken, his mother and father run it and they are both there at all hours of the day.

The location of the hotel is excellent for those travelling with a car and wanting to be in the middle between La Spezia (for Cinque Terre) and Pisa, Lucca and Firenze. Parking is private and free. The hotel and our room were neat and modern, The room was spacious enough, with 2 balconies, one in the bedroom and the other in the bathroom. The staff were very helpful giving us new locations to visit such as Pietrasanta and Il Ponte del Diavolo. Breakfast was also very good.

Our experience was good. The condition of our room was excellent. Specially swimming pool view. Open buffet for breakfast was very rich and so tasty. Hotel staff was so helpful and friendly. Second parking place is so big and not far away from main hotel entrance. Specially recommended for couples.

Hotel doesn't has any indoor facilities for children. They have only open air children playing area. Wellness center entrance fee is available only for one hour. Restaurant worked only for dinner time. Swimming pool is too small for 4 star hotel categories. Hotel concept mostly suitable only for adults.

Quiet, clean, cozy hotel. 2 convenient parkings with plenty of space. Breakfast from 8, with a take-away option, if you need to travel early. For football fans: this hotel belongs to the Buffon family, so you will find some interesting football memorabilia around the reception desk. The hotel offers food during the day (also during the siesta time) and evening and its quality is superb. It's 5 minute walk from the beach. The beach is paid, but it is worth it.

Great hotel overall. Our entire family was staying for three nights, and we also had the suite. Stunning pool area, very pleasant rooms, excellent shower facilities, good breakfast. Had no idea that this was Gianluigi Buffon's hotel! All the memorabilia was just awesome.

My parents had issues with operating the TV, and given they're not tech savvy I totally understand them... not sure why it shouldn't be simple to just turn on the TV. But it's a really minor thing.

Location, the hotel, the big nice garden and safe parking. The reception ladies were nice and helpful. Good bed mattresses.

- Difficult to have everything put in place for the breakfast (we always had to kindly ask the waitresses for setting-up the table, bringing the coffee, etc). They were mainly concerned of chatting between them than organising stuff. - Sometimes they were not refilling the empty breakfast plates - Always noisy too early in the morning for cleaning works (the lady started banging doors around 7 o'clock.. this is not nice while you're in holidays!) Please, please repair the elevator door from the 2nd floor!

Where to start?....from parking lot,to front yard,to lobby,reception, room,bathroom,restaurant, pool,outdoor patio,garden,breakfast...... This place is AMAZING!! It deserves not A+ but triple AAA+. We traveled thru Europe on vacation and our only regret was we couldn't stay longer. This facility overwhelmed us. Room wasn't very big but sufficient and comfortable for 2 people. Bathroom was a masterpiece. Marble from floor to ceiling, huge shower, modern and spectacular look over all We went for dinner to their restaurant on side, again.....amazing experience. My wife only worried we were casually dressed and was little uncomfortable upon entering the restaurant, but soon more casually dressed people came so her worries disappeared. Waiters very helpful and welcoming, food exceptional Breakfast had probably 8 different varieties of croissants and other delicious items. Bread,buns,fruits, fresh juices, cheese, meat, yogurt and of course amazing coffee. The only problem or rather small issue we had was the fact we couldn't locate the facility in the evening before when we arrived. It's actually little further away, perhaps 100yards from the position your GPS will give you. This place is a gem hidden but worth the effort once you get there. We're giving them absolutely 10 and we wish we could give them even more. We will be back! 100%

There was nothing you couldn't like about this place

The Hotel Stella Della Versilia is a bit hidden in the second street from the boulevard along the beach, about 1 km from the center of Massa di Marina, and only 200 m from the beach. It is surrounded by a beautiful small park with a small fitness facility and sunbeds spread over the park. Our room (a suite) was very spacious and had all the 4-star comfort you would expect. Style is maybe more important than functionality, but everything is well-maintained, working and modern. Beds are great, and it is really silent at night. The hotel offers a small spa, an outside pool with limited size, a bar and a nice restaurant with surprisingly good cooking. The choice of dishes is somewhat limited, but food is fresh and prices are fair. Staff is really very helpful, friendly and service-oriented, and that is a big plus. The hotel is owned by the Buffon family (one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time), and there are memorabilia of his career in several areas. It provides an excellent base for a holiday at the coast, both for couples and families with young children. There is a free large monitored parking place with a separate entrance, so no need to worry about parking your car.

Comfortable bed, good working AC. Interior is nice. The room is cleaned several times a day. Not far (~450m) from the sea. Good breakfast with a view to a pool. Free parking area. Nice environment. Friendly staff spoke English.

Strange smell in the room. The room needs some renovation because you can see cracks in the ceiling, some parts in the bathroom are loose. Balcony and bathroom doors doesn’t open smoothly. It’s a 4 star hotel so I expected more quality.
