We loved the hotel in general and the room, the place is a dream in terms of architecture. The staff was also super friendly and helpful.

One thing that could be improved is the service at the pool. In fact it's not possible to order drinks because no waiter passes by the pool during the day and when I tried to order water from the café, it took two attempts and more than 30 minutes to arrive. It's a small thing but it makes the experience a little less good. We had dinner at the restaurant as well one evening and although the presentation was really nice, the food could have been a little tastier, especially for such a fancy and pricey restaurant.

The Staff were far beyond what any staff I have ever had at a hotel, the whole team were exceptional, pool bar staff and Hue, dining staff amazing. The food was excellent and staff would assist with any request. There was not one thing that wasn’t of high standard. Room cleaners were exceptional, eye to detail. Our room was the best position, as we could watch the boats going up the Mekong river from our bed. Beautiful views. Wynn who was our floating markets tour guide on the Legacy wooden boat was an exceptional, warm, friendly and informative guide, the best ever. One of the best places to stay in the area, beautiful private bungalow spacious rooms.

The pool could have some cold water added, a little warm especially in the afternoon.

Whilst food was excellent, it was the most expensive we had in Vietnam . Can tho wasn’t our favourite city. We stayed at the hotel to spend a day seeing the floating markets & to travel along the Mekong which we enjoyed( did not arrange it through the hotel as too expensive). The Mekong around Can Tho is filthy & has lots of rubbish, but the hotel is like a little oasis in the middle of it. The island is much bigger than we imagined & does have a busy road bridge going over the top of it at the opposite end of island but you can hardly see or hear it. Don’t let this put you off.

Nothing negative at all

Excellent breakfast. It was a la carte for most of our stay as there weren't many guests. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. The pool is huge and the grounds are beautiful. The restaurant was good and we had a great massage at the spa. We also took the floating market trip from the hotel - really convenient. An added bonus was the gratis afternoon tea and cake. Best of all though is the staff. I wasn't very well during our stay and they were so kind, making me ginger teas etc for no charge.

Stunning rooms and grounds. Beautiful old trees and island location is fun. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast and really nice dinners where you can sit on a dock overlooking the lake. Easy access by hotel boat the a large floating market. The excellent outing we did one morning with a wonderful guide- Wing- who took us on a hike through local villages where we met a farmer and learned about farming there. We also learned a lot from Wing about local life and culture which we loved. The boat trip there was wonderful too and the nice picnic on the boat at the end of the trip was good too.

They had fenced off all access to the island around the hotel and so we couldn’t cycle or walk around the islet which we had been looking forward to. They had not put this on the website to warn guests and should have.

Great location, I was worried that it might be inconvenient to be on an island, but it was no problem at all, they run the boat back and forth constantly and it drops you right on the walking path 5 minutes walk to the downtown. Staff was so friendly, everything was great. Facilities were perfect. River view room was neat, you could see the boats floating by, not necessary, but cool. The resort has their own floating market tour boats, the boats are nicer than the normal ones you see at the market, our guide was great.

Love the secluded island location, very peaceful and felt good being situated in nature without the city noise. The rooms and facilities were excellent, incredibly comfortable as I expect from Azerai. The food and meals were high standard, the a la carte buffet breakfast was exceptional. As always there was a diverse range of curated experiences available which made the days more meaningful. But overall, what makes Azerai so special, as in Huế, is the staff. They are so kind, polite, and attentive, and with such readiness to meet your requests and try enthusiastically to make your stay special. Big thanks to all at Azerai CT, including the front office staff, spa staff, and everyone in the bar and restaurant, particular miss Ngọc who made extra effort to prepare a special anniversary cake at short notice. Azerai really understands customer service. Thanks for an amazing stay.

It was perfect.

The hotel is very charming with check in happening on the mainland and a boat taking you into the hotel. The hotel is really impressive with all facilities one would want and a sizable pool. The large lotus garden also looked great. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was really good. The breakfast which was cooked for order was even better. I took the local fish soup and it was just great. Would very easily stay again.

Might be a bit of my issue but I didn't realise it, it took us 4 hours via painfully slow taxi to get from Saigon airport to the hotel. Fly to can tho directly. I would have also preferred to have a bath in the room but I don't have many concerns.

Beautiful property that absolutely made our stay in Can Tho - we stayed for 3 nights but wish we’d had one more day! If we’d stayed in a hotel in Can Tho, we probably wouldn’t have loved the place … the staff at Azerai were so kind, 5 star service and a special experience being our first 5 star hotel stay! The rooms are immaculate and just as pictured. Worth coming to Can Tho for!

Meals and services on site are expensive BUT also delicious / delightful so worth every penny. They boat leaves the island on the hour and comes back to the island every half hour later so some of our plans were changed from what we might ideally do in Can Tho given we weren’t prepared to pay for additional trips
