An excellent variety of local produce for breakfast. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed on the evening we arrived, but the bar served a very good selection of meals so it didn't impact our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The locality of the hotel is wonderful. We had a terrace room which overlooked the river and the hills. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Spain as its location is close to the auto route, yet very tranquil.

Cycling paradise hotel! Well equipped cycle lock up with tools. Views are wonderful. Really good food with lots of choice after a long day cycling. Breakfast is great. Staff were super helpful and welcoming. Our room had a bath/ jacuzzi which was great. Decoration is a bit old but what does that matter when you have a wonderful, quiet and peaceful rest.

Fabulous scenic location between Irun and Pamplona. Warm comfortable room. Great shower. Wheelchair friendly. Very helpful staff. The Cafe bar is open all day and evening so we were able to get food and drink on arrival. Parking. A beautiful historic building.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lovely terrace and really fantastic rooms. But the star was the staff, who couldn't have been more helpful and kind. They were so good when we needed to stay an extra night, were caring and made sure we were ok when we left. Couldn't recommend more.

Ambience of the building, newly decorated rooms. Pleasant staff. Next to main road so ideal for early start.

Tottenham v Man Utd was on in Bilbao a few miles away, but not on the tv in the hotel. Planned early start, but breakfast started later than expected.

Very friendly, reception speaks English (not so in other parts of the hotel) Good restaurant with local food choices, good bar. Clean and quiet, nice mountain views. Good and free car park.

A very friendly establishment with good food, easy parking and excellent pricing. The staff are outstanding and try very hard to look after everyone well even when it is very busy. Impressive customer care.

The location was convenient for crossing the Pyrenees. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The tapas in the cafeteria were excellent and the waitress who served us was lovely. Breakfast was a good selection.

On arrival at 15.30 we were ignored by staff in the bar despite a sign indicating to check in with them. We were made to wait until the receptionist arrived. We have stayed at this hotel before and the room we were given this time was not as nice. It was on the roadside and was noisy and stuffy as we could not open the window due to the noise. The bathroom was very small. Access to the room was difficult for me due to mobility issues. Hot breakfast food unappetising.

Easily accessible and excellent welcome. Comfy beds and excellent shower. Room overlooked Bidasoa river. Cafe served very good food and the service was friendly and efficient.

Huge room with plenty space to spread out. Reception staff were excellent and told us exactly where to park in San Sebastian.

Restaurant was closed so we had to eat in a function room so no atmosphere. Cafe was OK but a bit bland.
