A fantastic stay in an authentic Basque setting. The hotel offers a peaceful atmosphere, warm hospitality, and an incredible breakfast—huge, delicious, and full of local flavors! Its location is perfect for outdoor lovers, with easy access to breathtaking hiking trails nearby.

Everything was great! If anything, I wish I had more time to explore the area.

Hotel is located in the mountains, we chose it as a quick sleepover on the way to San Sebastian, however it isn't as close to the highway as it looks like on the map. Regardless, it is worth a drive. Old barn converted into hotel, one of our rooms didn't have a window but door to the balcony doubled as one. Room shapes can be surprising and unusual. Well kept and sufficiently equipped, great place for a quick layover or couple of days in the mountains. Owner speaks reasonable English and is very friendly. Breakfast is in form of buffet, well provided although hot eggs are not present in any form.

Excellent views and location, staff welcoming. Traditional period furnishings, and English spoken which helped us. Parking either directly outside or across road. Restaurant appeared very popular.

For us may be more choice for the meals (but may just be traditional to the area) and menu in English / other languages would help but waiter kindly helped with the ordering.

Great hotel for a one-night-stop on my way back home. Very nice to be able to have dinner and breakfast at this place, as there is not much around. Dinner and breakfast were really good and honest in price. Very friendly and helpful personnel. Easy parking in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend this place!

Everything was fine. You just need to know that the kitchen closes at 21hrs, which I knew, as they advised me beforehand. Not negative, just something to take into account when you plan to arrive late.

Staff was friendly. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing. We took the menu and all dishes were just excellent and the price fair. The surroundings are beatifull. The rooms were clean. Free parking.

The internet connection was terrible! As in really terrible.

Really great value. This hotel is like stepping back in time. Real phones in the room with a list of local doctor numbers. The food is great, we had dinner and breakfast there. And such a beautiful area! Friendly staff.

A charming traditional hotel with a good restaurant. Impeccable service with a welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic views and location. Would highly recommend.

Nothing to dislike.

The bed was comfortable, and the view from the room was out to the mountains. The restaurant was amazing, both the food and the service were exceptional!

Nice and clean room, beautiful yard, good food in the restaurant downstairs. The bathroom had an electric radiator which was really handy when drying my wet hiking clothes.

Beautiful location, very friendly owners and staff, clean and comfortable room, superb shower! The food - dinner and breakfast - was excellent! Would happily visit again!
