We were pleasantly surprised by this cute, quirky hotel that offers a unique stay and is great value for money. We stayed two nights. Although the rooms are small, everything works. The beds are very comfortable, the bathroom is cool and compact, and there was adequate storage space. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the place is pristine. We especially liked the Club on the 9th floor and the views are amazing. Free teas, coffees and soft drinks along with happy hour is a great touch. We had never heard of the OKKO Hotels before now, but we would actively seek them out on our next trip.

Our only comment is on the bathroom. The door is extremely heavy and is hard to close on the inside. Personally, I would prefer if the blinds closed! We were baffled by the shape of the bathroom...

Good room, comfy bed, nice lounge area, with snacks and coffee. Friendly staff on check in. Cleaning was impeccable and the view from the 9th floor breakfast room was gorgeous. Perfect location for a 10 min walk to town or a bus to Biarritz practically outside.

Irritating waiting for lifts, lots and lots of waiting for lifts. Irritating slatted bathroom door (design feature) which just heavily slammed shut, stealth breakfast charge when it was implied it was included. Room would have been larger apart from the over designed (and tiny on the inside) bathroom. Standard breakfast, air conditioning could have been better. Nothing drastic. A quick lift to floor 9 would be great.

Everything was fantastic. Perfect location close to the bus station and train station. It's also a step away from the local bus to Biarritz and a five minute walk from the bus station to get to Biarritz airport. The staff was super friendly and the club was such a great touch. Access to water, coffee, and snacks 24/7 is lovely.

The room was too warm, but I'm an American so do what you want with that information.

Eye-opening concept, with Reception on ninth floor. Free refreshments and snacks all day. Helpful, friendly staff. High terrace and panoramic lounge.

For me, the need to constantly use a card to operate the lift and access common areas felt a bit robotic, though I appreciate the security benefits. While admiring radical design in the bedroom, the slatted bathroom door was heavy enough for re-use on a Space shuttle.

We enjoyed this pet-friendly hotel. The bed was comfortable, the sheets are eco-friendly, and it felt like who designed the place cared about the little things. The breakfast was quite good. The view from the 9th floor (co-working space / breakfast room) is amazing and improves the whole experience!

Tiny room, with a small bathroom. The bathroom door is quite big and occupies a bit of the bedroom space when open.

Very friendly helpful staff, loved the funky, 9th floor, lounge with great views, nice to have access to free snacks, tea, coffee etc. Very comfortable bed (lovely bed linen & pillows). A short walk in old town.

The strange bathroom! The door between bedroom & bathroom offers no sound proofing & won’t close (due to its poor design). ITS NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE! This expensive curved glass / timber slats design brings no value to the room. The architecture should be held to account. Tut

The staff were very friendly and efficient. We liked the complimentary coffee and snacks (pastries and fruit). The breakfast was good. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. Parking on-site was limited but available - need to book. Location to centre, 5 minute walk.

The bedroom was a bit small, felt cramped.

The hotel was really well serviced, beautiful sunset views from the cafe/restaurant, wasn't overserviced with daily cleans and also had one of the best wines of our holiday here. The buses out front took us directly to the beach and we had a couple of great swims at this stop on our holiday.

The hotel was somewhat off the beaten track - but we were easily and cheaply able to use the buses to get around.

The staff was very friendly ad helpful. The common room on the top floor provided an excellent view and during a storm great dramatic view. Supper was available in dining room, also on top floor.

The artistically designed bathroom walls and door were impractical. The walls were effectively transparent and the door extremely heavy with no handles. Weird. Ask about alternative on check in.

The place was very nice and clean and easily accessible. Very friendly staff and helpful even very late at night. Location was easy to find. The structure of the hotel was unusual but very interesting. Room was very clean and tidy and the bed was super comfy and cosy.

We were not aware of the parking policy but that was out fault as we only thought of it at the last minute. However staff was super friendly and gave us a great location to park in that was not far from the hotel.
