The hotel is quiet and peaceful and set in a beautiful property. The room was spacious and set over two levels with air con and no external noise. The staff were lovely and friendly and it was a very short walk to the town down a hill (no pavement). Large spacious pool and grounds with lots of space for parking and for sunbathing or relaxing. Beautiful and serene surroundings - loved it! The dogs are ADORABLE and I loved Hermes so much. They were also very well behaved and not jumpy etc so no concern for non dog lovers.

Breakfast was quite small portions but that meant there was minimal food waste, although I would have liked more fruit options in the morning. We would have preferred a coffee option in the room.

Stefano had incredible English and was really accommodating and always made sure we were happy. Ermes the dog was a brilliant addition to the property. They would have authentic Italian music on a record player in the mornings and evenings. On our anniversary they offered a 5 course fresh fish meal to all residents. We had sunshine as well as thunder storms and the property was perfect for both as you could sit with your doors open playing cards while it rained, or read a book by the pool when it was sunny.

Many years we have come to Salento for holidays and remote working, but never found this perfect balance of quietness, beauty and comfort. The Villa is amazing, it has all the facilities you might need, from strong WiFi connection to relax areas. Particularly loved the breakfast concept: you order sweet & salty products the day before and on the morning you have your basket ready with them. We loved having private breakfast next to our room, listening to classic music in the background. Location is perfect: 5mins distance from st Caterina Beach, but if you walk 20mins more you reach the outstanding Porto Selvaggio beach. The walk in the natural reserve is so quiet and full with viewpoints. Also appreciated the bike lane by the beach (10+ km) for burning out pasticciotto’s calories ;) Last but most importantly, Augusto and his team have made our stay unforgettable. The care about small details is what makes the difference. Thanks for all the advices, for the company and the enthusiasm. We hope to come back soon. Tip: come to Salento during low season to have a better experience! Ask for wine & food experience, the surroundings of Nardò are just MAGIC!

Location. Beautiful gardens and pool. Room was clean and spacious, recently renovated. Peaceful space. Staff friendly.

Pre order of breakfast, little choice. If taking a slightly later breakfast fruit and bread had all gone and not replenished. Coffee queue and extra charge for additional coffee after first at breakfast. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but you could ask for a kettle. Given the other facilities at the villa breakfast for us was disappointing.

The hosts are such nice people! It’s an amazing place for a good rest, tanning and swimming. There is a cute tiny town down te road and good beaches near. Just ask the hosts for good advice. Had a lovely moonlight dinner, a little hidden talent of the patron. Loved there were no children around. Would also recommend for group stays (20 people approximately).

Well, eventually we had to leave.

Beautiful and natural environment with proximity to the sea and a nice town to eat and drink out. Lovely garden and pool to enjoy, very quiet. Very kind and thoughtful staff, curated breakfast. AC in room and bathroom - which can be rare in the area, from our experience.

Communication sometimes a bit unclear - instructions over whatsapp and breakfast requests in written form.

Scenic Italian atmosphere with a beautiful garden and pool. The rustic room ambiance was very unique. A shower in the middle of a room was a nice touch. Also, breakfast was delicious and eating it outside was an amazing experience. The fact that the room was in the basement offered a nice and cold sleeping environment.

The room was quite dark and damp. I had a feeling that I was sleeping in a cellar. To retain privacy you had to close the windows on the door.

Loved the hospitality! The team is simply awesome and goes above and beyond. Very personal service from Stefano and Erica but also Augusto and Francesca. The house and estate were in tip top shape

A beautiful house with a great welcome from the owner Augusto. It was convenient for the sea and also to visit Nardo. We only stayed one night but the room opening onto the garden was wonderful for having breakfast. Very relaxing.

We had to switch the minibar/refrigerator off at night as it made a lot of noise. But that really was no big deal/

Beautiful peaceful grounds. Walkable to seaside area and restaurants, while also being in a tranquil location. It was nice to experience the old wealth villa lifestyle. It was a good value

That the facilities are shared with other guests but unmanned and with self check-in. It was fine, but felt strange at first.
