Vagelis, the host, was great. He met us at the harbour and took us to the flat and told us about its history and facilities. He also provided complimentary wine, marmalade, and apples, and regularly checked everything was OK. The flat was well furnished, quiet and very clean. It was thoroughly serviced each day. It had the usual facilities, incl. a safe, and the kitchen was well equipped, including a stove and a good-sized fridge. The courtyard was good for relaxing and had clotheslines you could use to air towels and bathmats. The flat is in the old town, just below the castle, which has a lot of character (and cats), but only 10 minutes to the waterfront, shops, restaurants, port etc. Once you know the way, the route to the town centre is actually straightforward. There is lots to see in Naxos. Four days was not enough.
The bathroom, and particularly the shower recess, are on the smaller size but functional. The bedroom curtains let in the early morning sun. Overall, however, the flat offered great value for money. Would stay again.

The location was amazing The apartment was amazing -bed was comfortable -fully stocked kitchen -comfortable seating in courtyard -antique furniture was SO cool - provided robes and slippers -cleaners came during the day -ac/heating worked perfectly The host was the kindest most generous person ever. He gave us a pomegranate, apples and wine from his farm. he showed us around, picked us up and walked us to the apartment. checked on us, and answered immediately with anything we needed. He gave me a hand made apron as a parting gift and even let us checkout late because our ferry was delayed. We stayed at 10 different places all across Greece and this was our favourite. This was as unique as they come.
everything was perfect.

A really charming apartment, conveniently located in the old town. The traditional furnishings and family memorabilia etc gave the apartment great character. The courtyard was a lovely place to read or have a drink. Our host was very kind, helpful and proactive, and gave us generous momentos of our stay. We had everything we needed - the kitchen facilities were very "compact", but we found the fridge, kettle and sink, as well as the crockery and cutlery, useful. We were there in early May, when it was quiet in Naxos.
We liked everything about the apartment.

Vagelis, the owner met us at the ferry port so made it so easy Walked us through the old town to our apartment Perfect location in the narrow winding streets Apartment had a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard Separate bedroom and living room Would stay there again as Vagelis was so helpful and helped us with anything we required On arrival we received a bottle of wine and a jar of home made jam from Vagelis's winery and upon leaving found a lovely gift on our doorstep of a handmade table runner To get to the apartment there are many stairs and steep windy narrow streets. This didn't bother us at all but for those that have difficulty, this should be considered and staying in the old town may not be suitable
Not really anything we did not like Bathroom was small but had everything we needed

What a gem in the middle of quaint old Naxos old town! The owner, Vangelis, met us at the port and walked us through the town to our room. He gave history of some of the highlights in town and recommendations for restaurants and points of interest. Added extras like fruit and a bottle of wine in our room made this such a memorable stay. The room has old town charm and is peaceful and quiet. I recommend to anyone appreciating a location with character!

The building is incredible and I loved how the host provided pamphlets and books on the history of Naxos as well as displays in the apartment of historical relics. The location is great in that it is close to a lot of attractions and the Old Town is beautiful. The host also provided free wine and jam from his farm. Everything was clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable.
The apartments are not listed on Apple Maps and so it was quite difficult to find. It was also a bit confusing getting the keys. Be warned the Naxos Old Town is walking only and a lot of the streets are winding and confusing! It is easy to get lost.

Our host met us at the ferry and guided us to the apartment. Our walk over included an explanation of where we were and what we could do during our visit. Amazingly, the property has been in his family for centuries. It has been beautifully maintained and updated. The island has many cats that seem to be welcomed by the residents but they leave "gifts" on the walkways. We had all of the tools we needed to keep our shoes, luggage and rooms clean (which was appreciated). During one restoration, ancient artifacts were discovered below us. A plexiglass window into that area allowed us to experience the rich history of the area. Lots of little, extra touches to make our stay comfortable. Additionally, there were check-ins to make sure we were comfortable and everything was working. The apartment was charming. We travel as a group of 5 and were able to have our own rooms and enjoy conversation in the courtyard.

Our very patient and wonderful host came to find us after we got lost finding the meeting place. We had a lovely surprise with the apartment having a large table for us to work from in a kitchen/dining room with a separate bedroom and a super comfortable bed. It was very spacious and particular attention was given to maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene. Generous host left us products from the family estate. We just wish we could've stayed longer.
We could have met our host nearer the ferry so we wouldn't get lost

The owner very kindly met us at the port and walked us to the hotel. Old Naxos is full of twists and turns and hidden alleyways so we did need the escort. After that, we were able to find our way on our own which could be quite entertaining. It was great fun to explore the old city. Shops, restaurants, the port, beaches and the Temple were all close by. The host very generously shared wine and marmalade from his family farm. The rooms were nicely furnished with antiques and a few ancient relics displayed in museum quality cases. This place is very special.

The location was in the old market village. The owner met us at the post, if not we would have never found it! It is nestled in amongst may other buildings. We followed our host through a maze of narrow paths as he commented on the history of village and then the property where we stayed. He is a very gracious and generous host. The apartment is small but all one needs. Bed was comfortable. Location of the unit was close to restaurants and shopping.
Our only comment was the shower should have a hook to hold it above ones head.
