The highlight of staying at the property was the hospitality shown upon arrival. I was traveling for work and came in a little early. Latisha, the front desk clerk, remained communicative on the status of my room. Additionally, the first room I was given had an air conditioning issue. She immediately moved me to another room that better fit my needs and comfort levels. The breakfast was good and wholesome, and I didn't come in contact with anyone who didn't go above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome. The hotel literally sat "on the river," in the midst of beautiful, historic downtown. It was a great stay overall.

The overall facilities (bathtubs, air conditioning, etc.) could be updated.

The staff was superb!!! We had interactions with front desk clerk, maintenance guy in elevator, housekeeper and breakfast servers. They were personable, smiling, welcoming, helpful, efficient and generally acted as if they were thrilled that we were there as a guest. In today's world, this was soooo refreshing!!!!!! Mattress and pillows were great!

We had room 406. One dresser drawer would not stay closed so it was always open and stuck out in the way where we walked by. The handicapped bathroom shower was a bit worn (ie, caulking) and dingy (bottom discolored). I'm assuming housekeeping cleaned it but so hard to keep those one piece "plastic" inserts white.

The room was lovely and had a great river view. The bed and pillows were comfy and smelled and looked freshly laundered. The location was perfect ... walking distance to most things downtown and lots of things to do on the River Walk. Breakfast was a buffet style that was very popular ... we are vegan so we only had grits and some fruit, but it was good.

The room was not completely clean .... the counter where the coffee pot and sink was very sticky with something, there were wheat looked like bacon bits in the floor beside the coffee table in the living room, the windows were very dirty with handprints and smudges, these were on the inside of the windows.

This is a majestic looking hotel on the banks of the Mississippi and very near to a couple of very good eateries that are open late at night even on a Sunday (an exception in Natchez). It is also within walking (or very short driving) distance to several visitor destinations. The hotel has a bar near the lobby which was well stocked and made for a lively place. The breakfast was standard (eggs, grits, biscuits, sausages) along with coffee and orange juice, but was not self-serve. Overall, no complaints with the breakfast or the service.

The bed was not that comfy. Both the pillows and the mattresses were very soft to the point that it was hard to balance oneself on the bed. Other than that, everything in the room was good and the internet worked well. There is a mini-fridge in the room as well as free coffee.

the location of the hotel is perfect and stunning views.

the staff weren’t as accommodating as one would expect at a hotel like that. There was constant thumping from the room above our room late at night and early in the morning. the breakfast was very mediocre and a more self serve would be better. I understand the Covid protocols but the cereal wasnt even out on display and the variety of hot food is on par with the cheaper motels.

Great location!! 1 block walk to The Corner Bar & restaurants. They do have some food/snacks for purchase in the lobby pantry. Lobby with plenty of seating including the bar area with tables & chairs. Got a better $ here vs booking direct & got an upgrade so that my room faced the river & had a microwave (in addition to the coffee maker & frig) vs the “city/pool view”

They still do breakfast during Covid times! Before “Covid” it was a breakfast buffet. Since then it is STILL a breakfast served by staff behind plexiglass shields with a tip jar!!! A scoop of scrambled eggs & grits, a sausage, a biscuit. You can have all the cereal/milk, juice, danish, fruit & coffee that you want. Also, it ended early at 9

I'm not repeating my review of this accommodation gem of two years ago. The fact that I am a greatly impressed return customer from Germany should be sufficient kudos.

Unfortunately, for personal reasons I had to leave in a hurry a day earlier than I had pre-booked. Even more unfortunate: I could not get reimbursed, because hotel staff pointed me to negotiate with Booking.com – but Booking.com apparently no longer accepts customer calls (it has now hidden any phone contacts from their website), and the claims section on the Web wasn't helpful. Suffices to say that this was not the hotel's responsibility.

Old hotel located right along the Mississippi River. Plenty of parking. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The breakfast room was big and the food was very good. We were in a line to be served and had a good amount of choices. Great area to walk to a restaurant the night we arrived and a great starting place to walk around to see the antebellum homes and historical sites of Natchez.

The elevator sounded like it was on its last leg, so we opted for the stairs. Unfortunately, not everyone has that option. It's an old hotel - it is fine for 1 or 2 nights.

The room had a beautiful balcony with cast-iron table and chairs. The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful especially at sunset! Enjoyed walking trails across the street, along the river. We were pleasantly surprised to find the room had a large jacuzzi tub. The hot breakfast buffet was delicious and filling. And we were blessed with getting all of this at a very discounted price. My biggest regret was we only were staying one night.

We were only staying one night.
