The location of the Boatel was perfect! It was walking distance to Club Mulwala and the Mulwala Water Ski Club which are both perfect spots for breakfast, lunch dinner and drinks. It was a bonus to be able to see the light show at the ski club on a Wednesday night, highly recommended. Other recommendations are the sunrise from the balcony, enjoy the scenery with the numerous walking paths in the area and fish and chips by the water. And if weather permits, relax by the pool and there is also a sauna! Although the room is an old school design, it is clean and well maintained. It had all the necessities we require. Shout out to Phil who was the most helpful and informative host. I think I could talk to Phil for hours!! I also got to give pats to Maple who was just the loveliest pooch :)

I honestly cannot fault anything with this accommodation.

Desirable touristic location. Within walking distance to the township of Yarrawonga and Sebel. A stunning refurbished outdoor pool area, which is treated with magnesium, enabling for the benefits of softer water; delicate on your skin. Plenty of seats and outdoor poolside umbrellas providing ample shade. Spacious and roomy clean apartments. Balcony to each apartment offer a full front water view to Lake Mulwala. You can sit and watch speedboats and jetski riders, scurry on by in the nearfront distance from your balcony; whilst you sip and sup on your afternoon tea/coffee/wine and (or) whilst nibbling on a platter or two. Restaurants and local venues are well situated very nearby. A shuttle bus service is also available by local venue providers, for a pick up / drop off service by local bowling and golfing glub. You will also find staff exceedingly pleasant and friendly.

We loved the view and the location. The weather was like 20 to 26 degree, pool was clean but quiet cold as it must be solar heated. Carpark is good underground, the apartment has a seperate laundry and full kitchen excluding oven. It was quiet roomy and in very clean condition.

Pool temperature was cold for kids as it must be solar heated. The main bedroom a/c is weak not like the main living room. The living TV is quiet small for these days like 40 inch eventhough we hardly turn it on, and was lack of online apps and foxtel channels.

We were more than impressed with the Boatel on Lake Mulwala. Knowing the old hotel, I knew the stay could go either way. However, we were incredibly impressed over and over again. Phil, one of the owners, greeted us over the phone during check-in after we arrived late, making the process quick and easy. He was accommodating every step of the way, and you can tell he cares about his guest's experience. The room was much larger and more comfortable than the photo's do justice. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, and our bedroom and main lounge room had excellent air conditioners, which were a must for us. The Boatel is a renovated older hotel, meaning it is not a Sebel or a Hilton. However, it is a waterfront gem close to town, with care put into every detail, including the heated pool with day beds that are very comfortable. We will be back to stay every time we are in town.

If there was one thing at all, seagulls can be noisy in the morning when you sleep in. But if that's what you're going to complain about, there are some great gratitude exercises that can be found easily online these days.

A lot of improvements have been made. The pool is fantastic, which we really appreciated on a very hot afternoon. The staff were all very friendly especially the owner. The balconies over looking the lake are great and it is in within walking distance to all of the major clubs.

My only recommendation would be to add extra towels for the pool. We didn't bring extra towels, which meant that we had to use the same towels. Not really a big deal but I would have bought one from home had I realised. Maybe even leave them at the office, where they need to be checked in and out. Otherwise we were very happy.

Last minute accommodation not even a 5 minute walk away. Was fantastic for families kids loved it. The upgrades Phil was telling me about was perfect. Even the lounge chairs having phone charger space was brilliant

Nothing everything was great. Phil was such a pleasure to talk with. Alough Ive never owned a dishwasher so I actually don't think I turned that on, also we forgot to replace the light cover of the fan in the bedroom as when we turned it on it was making a noise but everything was great.

Phil and the team have put a lot of love and care into the refurbishment of this property, and it shows! Phil was welcoming and friendly on arrival and nothing was too much of an issue. The pool area is amazing - there’s even power points for the outdoor lounges! The view from the balcony is idyllic and the beautiful local birds give you a show at sunset. Great BBQ area with tennis courts and putt putt, too! I recommend taking a walk over to Yarrawonga at sunrise or sunset :)

The hosts were very attentive and extremely helpful. The room was very clean and the location was absolutely excellent. Security was also top notch, Very pleased with our stay, we will be returning to this accommodation

I really do not believe there would be anything I would change. It was as good as anyone could hope for or even want. Excellent

Location facilities and comfort is all very good, it is still on the way to getting well setup so it's not quite a serviced apartment like a hotel yet. No daily clean or room service. No shampoo or body wash etc but upon request they were granted.

The portacot was there but not clean or usable so had to buy my own but that's not necessarily a negative as most people carry theirs.

The location & access to Yarrawonga and Mulwala were great. Views were incredible. The apartment was spacious. Even the carpark had a view of the lake! Checking in was simple & likewise with checking out. Very seamless process. We came during the off season so it was very quiet, unsure about noise levels during Summer/ Autumn

One minor issue we found was the coffee plunger. It was a bit small for use for two people.
