We loved the doors opening to the pool and grass area with chairs and table outside. We also loved the extra things like daily service, complimentary tea/biscuits and shampoo/conditioners. Also so handy that the reception had ice bags for sale and cold cans of soft drink! Loved the small mini golf course as an option and tennis court with racquets easily available. Also great tv with Netflix/app access. Very great value and room cleanliness, great find!

Room was comfortable & quiet. Minimal road noise or foot traffic in the area. Located a short drive from local restaurants/clubs/pubs. Staff were friendly & helpful throughout the stay. Pool area & gardens looked nice, however was not able to enjoy them due to long work hours.

Bathroom & shower felt a bit dated; however, it was more than sufficient for use. Plenty of hot water & pressure.

The accommodation here was a 10 out 10. The room was very clean and modern. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and always willing to help if needed. I took this trip because I needed peace and that is exactly what I got with my stay. Very accommodating to kids and have plenty on offer for family activities. Highly recommended Barooga country inn.

There was nothing bad I could say about my stay.

The way it was sit out was amazing and have the pool and everything was private. I like the layout on how the hotel was. And the caretakers were amazing friendly, and I loved it how the kids had been freedom.

What I didn’t like about the property or the kitchen sink you couldn’t do dishes in it and you also could not fill the kettle up

My partner and i were in Barooga for a golf competition, and our accom was a perfect distance from where we needed to be. The owners are lovely and very welcoming. We didn't have a chance to use the pool, but it looked really good. The common area for everyone to access was really nice. It was nice sitting outside at night rather than being stuck in a room. We will definitely stay here again for the next golf weekend.

The bathroom really needs an exhaust fan as it gets very steamy once the shower starts.

The rooms were spacious and clean. Kitchenette had everything we needed for breakfast in our room. The grassed area was great for kids to run off some energy and even had a mini golf course that kept my 8yo amused for quite some time. We'll be back in the warmer months so we can make use of the amazing pool on the grounds. Hosts were also lovely, and very helpful. Location was great, 2 min drive from everything we needed to get to.

What an awesome find , this lovely motel in a quiet location is a beautiful oasis. I was greeted warmly by the lovely Kerrie , the grounds and gardens are just beautiful, very spacious rooms, spotlessly clean, comfy bed and a couple of minutes drive to the town for restaurants and supermarket or a short 8 min drive to Cobram if you cant find what you need in Barooga. I will definitely stay again

I really couldnt fault this lovely motel.

Rooms were surprisingly bright and clean on arrival after an obvious makeover. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for our stay and only a 2 min drive to the main street and a 5 min drive to Cobram.

The only thing I found strange was one day the bed was made but the towels weren't changed even after leaving them on the floor. The next day Our towels were changed but the bed wasn't made. I felt like they had got distracted and forgotten to come back and finish our room. Apart from this, I would recommend this property as I feel it was a "one off" occurrence

Love the relaxing and causal environment. Management and housekeeping teams were all friendly. Thanks for acceding to our request of room arrangement. It is very much appreciated. Easter bunny gift (with thanks) was a nice surprise for our son. Motel location is excellent with onsite golf courses and practice facilities. Both courses are in very good condition. We like the old course and the pro-shop was very accommodating to let us commenced at Hole 7 near the motel. We did enjoyed the yummy pizza from Presto Pizza (the Cobram ordering brochure was outdated). Sporties Bistro provides great value for member's dinner and lunch. Thanks for a great stay.

Not too far a drive, facilities especially for the kids was brilliant. Very comfortable and family friendly.

Not much not to like, but need to get a bigger room with a bigger fridge if staying for more than a few days. For short stay its fine.
