Fantastic property just 5 minute drive out of Cobram. The owners, Donna & James were very helpful & friendly. The property is 45 acres with only 4 units, a tennis court, pool, golf driving range & fantastic BBQ area and beautiful grassed grounds.. The unit was very well appointed with everything you could want. Sitting outside listening to the birds etc instead of traffic noise was great. Even though the other units were occupied you felt that you had the place to yourselves. Good breakfast provisions provided.

Internet was a bit hit & miss and a bit slow. TV needs to be updated (?) as none of the HD channels were available and could only get channel 10 & 2 on the ordinary channels, but this may be the reception in the area. Although there is a DVD player and DVD's to borrow at the office.

If you're looking for something out of town. A quiet place to relax, take in the scenery or have a swim, than this place is for you. The owners are absolutely loving and very accommodating. The bed was so comfortable i found myself not wanting to get out. Being greeted by their horse while driving up the driveway was such a delight. We became good friends every morning as I couldn't help myself by stopping to give a nose scratch. 10/10 will be coming back with friends for a relaxing weekend away.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming, even going as far to stock breakfast essentials and a bottle of wine for guests. The property was spotless, cosy, and the bed was fantastic. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat, unfortunately I travelled for work so it was a quick stop but this is the perfect getaway.

Loved everything about this stay! Cottage was immaculate, modern, and an abundance of kitchen utensils available. Fresh bread, eggs, cereal and a complimentary bottle of wine elevated the experience. BBQ area lovely to relax, and the river a short walk away. Absolutely unreal getaway location and will recommend to anyone I can!

Except for Wifi, everything is sooooo good, nice hospitality, a clean and decent-sized room, and a modern bathroom. The things that really surprised me were the scenic view and the bay window seats in the bedroom. Amazing. The homebrew wine is so good.

Wifi connection is a bit not that powerful, but it gives you a good chance to enjoy the nature and the room.

The Retreat was excellent....it is off the beaten track so it is very quiet and secluded and a perfect place to either unwind and relax, or use as a base to explore the Murray River and district. The unit was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast supplies and bottle of wine were a pleasant surprise and the grounds offer plenty of activities or exploring. A great weekend!

I loved the Tokemata Retreat because it was quiet, and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and caring people. I highly recommend staying here.

The peace and serenity was amazing. Loads of activities. One night is not enough for this amazing place. Donna and James were very helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome. The pool was a highlight, refreshing with plenty of shade on a hot day.

It is absolutely beautiful a piece of country paradise we where greeted by the lovely owner who told us about the facilities and the resident koala, the accommodation is excellent so clean, spacious and updated and the bed was so comfortable, we received a beautiful complimentary bottle of wine and supplied all the goodies for breakfast. The BBQ area was lovely, we left feeling relaxed and will definitely be back.

The property was beautiful and very well maintained, the accommodation was exceptionally clean and Donna was just lovely. We had a short but lovely stay thankyou. My hubby even caught a fish before having a quick hit on the golf strip.

The verandah was a bit wet and breezy to have a smoke on but we shouldnt be smoking anyway . The rutty road to the resort was bad but cant be helped im sure-council job good luck!
