The lake scenery is lovely - excellent view onto the lake from the terrace. The terrace in the garden offers a nice setting for outdoor dining. The restaurant was enjoyable with very kind and efficient service and nice cuisine. The staff and the lady at the reception were utmost friendly and offered great service.

During day time rather heavy traffic in the street close by. A plus: in the evening and at night time it becomes quiet.

There is very little we did not like. The bathrooms and toilets and sinks and communal areas definitely need upgrading. I am sure the owner knows this but maybe COVID deeailed these investment plans ? We would stay here again but if in two to three years the sanitary fittings have not been upgraded then that would be the last trip because if the hotel is open all year for marriages and tourists it must be making sufficient money to reinvest ?

Everything at this hotel is as beautiful as the photos show. What the photos don't show you is how lovely the staff are. I felt like royalty, they were so kind and helpful. The restaurant serves delicious food and good wine. The staff all speak English and were very kind in helping me with my attempts at speaking French. I wish I could just live here - this hotel is just wonderful.

This is not specific to this hotel - I was here in the middle of a heat wave and i noticed that French windows lack screens to keep the bugs out, so I had to keep the windows closed when it was 40°C

The location is excellent. Facing a lake with swans. Reminiscent of the world of The Sound of Music. The food is good and highly recommended. All the staff are very helpful. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the rest of the hotel is so good that it makes you forget that.

The hotel is in a quiet part of town, near a lake. Its restaurant offers interesting menus with local dishes.

Our room was a bit bland. It seems this hotel has known better times.

Overall hotel looking tired and dated. Plumbing was an issue as very noisy when showering or using loo, droning noise that went on a bit.

From the moment we were met by the owner at reception we knew this would be a good stop over. Rooms were very comfortable and all services were good. Hotel is slightly in need of an update but for me this added to the charm. It's in an amazing location with a large lake to the rear. Hard to believe that you are only 200mtrs from a major road such is the calm and quiet. Dinner was excellent and service high.

Nothing comes to mind, for a budget hotel exceeded expectatioins.

The quality of the facilities matches the pricing. The big balcony was great. This hotel is not expensive due to its slightly worn out state. But its a convenient spot and nice surroundings so we enjoyed it.
