It’s a very cute, old fashioned but well maintained and very comfortable motel. My husband and I have each stayed there twice now while loading or unloading our son from UMaine and enjoyed our stays. The couple that runs the motel is very friendly, caring and helpful. The bedding is good quality. Small touches like a couple bottles of water, kitchenettes and coffee makers are helpful and appreciated.

Honestly there’s nothing bad to say. It’s not a five star hotel and doesn’t pretend to be. The hair dryer in the room didn’t work and the water temp in the shower was hard to regulate. It is homey not luxury but we like it.

Owner Jane was lovely and very helpful. The reasonably-priced suites are more like a small apartment with large, comfy living room and full sized kitchen, etc. Housekeeper does great job. The photos don’t do it justice as far as the nice furnishings in our suite. Quiet area. Be sure to check out Governors Restaurant and Bakery (about a 10-minute drive). It was delicious with amazing desserts.

In the back bedroom there was a full closet but no dresser or spot to lay things except a chair. It was further than we expected from Bangor with country roads, but also cheaper.

It was a good location for our trip. We appreciated being able to park very close to our room. Having a balcony view on the second floor of the river was a plus. We had everything we needed in the room.

One of the two queen beds was a quite saggy mattress. Other than that, we were quite comfortable.

The location on the river was great. We had a small balcony with chairs to enjoy the setting, small river view, sound of birds in the trees. Room was comfortable and clean. Host was friendly and helpful, suggesting ideas for activities and restaurants. She was kind enough to bring us bottled water.

Room could have been cooler when we first arrived, but air conditioning brought the temperature to comfortable fairly soon.

Very spacious and nicely furnished accomodation with 1+2 rooms (living room with a kitchen and two bedrooms). Free parking on site and good free wifi. Very comfy beds.

There was an unfortunetely longer waiting during our reception. Price could be lower if only 2 people rent it instead of 4. Little bit further away from Acadia National Park, approx. 1.5 hrs of driving.

Clean and quiet motel in Milford/Old Town Maine. We stopped here overnight on our way from Prince Edward Island to Boston. The beds were comfy, and the rooms have balconies overlooking the river behind the motel. We had dinner and breakfast at the Goversor's restaurant a short drive away, and took a late evening walk to the dam on the river, in what seemed to be a safe neighborhood. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful with suggestions for where to eat. The room had a kitchenette that we didn't use.

The "room" is more like a mini apartment! Full kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, pots & pans and utensils. You only need your own seasonings and food! Full bathroom with tub and shower. Nice little deck off the kitchen area. We love it!

No tv in the larger of the 2 bedrooms...but not a big deal!

Great location to the University of Maine. Beautiful spot right on the river and next to some great restaurants in Old Town.

There was a slight problem with our heat when we first arrived, but the owners were on the problem within minutes and fixed everything. They were very helpful and prompt.

Outdated but it adds charm to the place. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, clean kitchen. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite w/balcony overlooking the river. It had a full stove, microwave, full fridge/freezer and quiet neighborhood. Will book again when we come to the area in the future!

Very friendly staff. Clean,spacious room with a beautiful view. The suite had a fully equipped kitchen. It was great not to have to eat out every night of our trip. We'll definitely stay again on our next visit.
