Very convenient to the highway for an overnight pit stop. The “White House” concept is cute, and gives the hotel a little personality.

Our room was large but it seemed to be missing furniture - eg. Should have a proper sofa, desk, etc. Towels were also skimpy. Breakfast was ok - it would have been nice to have more real fruit, and less overprocessed food product. Also, the coffee, made in a machine from concentrate and hot water, instead of being brewed from grounds, was icky and not for us.

The White House Inn provides a historical perspective on our Presidents. The lobby contains displays from presidential campaigns. The hallways are lined with portraits of the Presidents. The room was clean and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was amazing with all the choices and freshness of the food.

The location is next to a truck stop in which you could hear diesel engines running through the night. The layout of the room had the bathroom sink next to the entrance which could lead to some embarrassing moments if you're not careful.

I reviewed this earlier today but accidentally gave the review of the hotel we had stayed at on the previous 3 nights. Our stay at the Best Western White House was excellent and we are grateful, especially after the prior hotel. I apologize and hope you can delete my previous review. I mentioned the peeled hard-boiled eggs at breakfast at the previous place. BW would never serve that.

Nothing bad to say. We got there in a snowstorm on Thanksgiving Day and were welcomed by the excellent staff.

The room was great. The exercise room was nice as well with excellent equipment. We didn't get a chance to use the whirlpool spa but will the next time we stay, yes there will be a next time. The best part of the stay was the continental breakfast. The breakfast was by far the best continental breakfast we have had and this is the main reason we will stay at this location the next time we are in Bangor.

There's nothing you can do, the location is in an industrial area but the Hotel more than made up for this one thing we didn't like.

The staff was amazing and more than accommodating to our every need.

Booking listed unreasonably expectations for the rooms. They had rooms listed at a price but they were not the appropriate rooms. They took a room w a heart shaped tub and listed for for the cost of a regular room. The location was amazing but booking really should update there stuff and make sure that it is accurate.

Beautiful rooms. Hot tubs. Massage chair. Fireplace. Wonderful, charming, inviting atmosphere.

Kitchen staff was extremely rude when we apparently walked in when they were closed for complimentary breakfast, repeatedly stating they were closed, in an aggressive manor. This made us extremely uncomfortable, fortunately we were checking out. Reservation and reception staff was wonderful.

The property was lovely, it felt a little outdated which may have been the idea. The breakfast was delicious and we had lots to choose from.Overall a lovely stay

The only issue we had with the property was the person working the front desk the night we were there seemed quite rude with us for asking a couple questions. He was not overly helpful and as we were walking away we could hear him muttering under his breath when we left. One of the things we were also surprised by was that the little store didn’t serve any juices, I’m pregnant and wanted some but also if kids are at the hotel it seemed they only offered soda.

Our stay at the Best Western White House Inn was wonderful. The rooms were clean and spacious and the staff were all very friendly and helpful! The location of this hotel was perfect! Right off of route 95, just a few minutes from downtown Bangor and about an hour to an hour and a half from Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park! We also really enjoyed Dysart's Restaurant located right next to the hotel at the truck stop, the food was delicious!

The only thing we didn’t like was that you could occasionally hear the interstate traffic in the room late at night and early in the morning, but that’s to be expected where you’re located right off the interstate!

Easy access off the highway, super friendly, clean and quiet. Good breakfast included.

No restaurant on site, although the staff do an outstanding job of providing a few options, like pizza a drinks from lobby. A bit pricey by comparison to the remainder of our long roadtrip through Maritimes and New England.

Breakfast was fine. Location is not exactly desireable...can't walk to anything, not close to town amenities. Would also be helpful for front staff to know what exit you are on (180). 2 members did not know.

Location of our room. Had pitched roof with no real window or view aspects. Hotel was clearly not full, so regular room would have been nice for the price.
