Clean, well located for concert we were attending

Covid restrictions appear to have lingered on, buffet closed, bar in casino operating on sporadic hours, no live entertainment any more there and housekeepers still not permitted to enter guest rooms. Kind of felt like 2022 not 2024

We went to a concert which was .03 miles from hotel.

The water in sink and shower kept cutting off and on.

Liked the fact that the hotel is very central and walking distance to the Main Savings Amphitheatre. The rooms were well appointed with a mini fridge and coffee maker. Coffee was excellent! The bed was very comfortable. The onsite restaurant, 99 Hops House, had great food at reasonable prices and generous portions. The craft beer selection was also excellent. The servers were very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. When we return to Bangor, this hotel will definitely be considered.

I can't really say anything bad about the hotel and restaurant. We didn't attend the casino so no comments would be appropriate for that.

This hotel is a slice of Vegas in Maine, with a 2 stoey statue of Paul Bunyan grinning down at the parking deck. It was not even close to crowded when we were there - the very friendly staff told us that it's a hub when concerts are in town, and then it is very busy. The casino is nonsmoking (yay!), and the only odd thing was that you cannot take alcohol out of the casino to your room. The buffet was closed, but we had an amazing, huge breakfast in their restaurant. Parking was ample and free, with easy on off access to the interstate. The room was a basic, comfortable b le casino hotel.room with minimal decoration but a very comfortable bed.

The water was weird - it was set hot, so be careful with that, and the temperature and pressure varied in the shower.

Friendly staff at check-in, our waiter at 99, and even the craps table dealer. Class act at each touch point. Great value for our one night stay and super convenient to Waterfront concert event we attended. Very clean, beautiful room. Have stayed overnight in Bangor many times before but had no idea what quality to expect from a casino and hotel and you literally can’t tell at all from Main Street what to expect inside! Also, had ZERO clue that there was a restaurant in there all these years!!!

Really the only “complaint” (but we didn’t really care) was that the bathrooms in the casino area were a little messy at 9:30pm and the hotel lobby restroom looked a little messy the next morning. We could have gone to our room, but we popped in each for convenience. Could have been a one-off or due to lighter staffing on Sunday. 🤷🏼‍♀️ It wasn’t really a major issue for us.

We went to a concert and the hotel is an easy walk to venue. Underground parking for the motorbike was a bonus as weather was iffy, I should remember the guy at the front desks name. He was a pretty amazing guy... people person. Thanks for accommodating early check-in, finding us a corkscrew and giving directions like you actually cared. Big hug! Bedding was so soft and light. Mattress comfortable and everything very clean.

Food at the Casino was just OK . Air Conditioning in the room was freezing and we couldn't control it.

VERY clean, staff friendly, never had to wait for an elevator for longer than 20 seconds. Rooms are very quiet! Didn't hear a single slamming door, didn't hear loud people in the hall, couldn't hear my neighbors TV

There is no food available on-property on Mondays and Tuesdays due to short-staffing. That said, there is a variety of places to get food and drink within a 5-10 minute walk, so its not a big problem.

I think the hotel is very nice and all the staff that I talked to seemed very friendly and knowledgeable.

It took an extra 20 minutes or so to check in to the room because the systems were down. I have 0 blame on the staff for this because the systems were down. The biggest thing I didn’t like about the hotel is the AC setup for the room. It was too hot in the room. Their AC is just a spin dial and I put it at 50 and the room was still hot.

The view of the river was beautiful. Staff was SUPER friendly and comforting as a solo traveler. Room was clean, bed was COMFY, absolutely did not hear another room's noise or people in the hall, and I was first from the elevator so I expected to. Easy parking. Easy checkout. I could go on and on. Thank you!!

I thought about checking out the casino area, but honestly didn't figure out the playpass app so I did a walk through and went upstairs.

We stayed a few years ago when we were on our motorcycle and loved that it had a garage attached. We came again because we were on a Trike and were again appreciative of the garage. Very close to all the attractions.

We don't gamble as a rule so we did not go to the casino. We were there mid week and did not see any other entertainment or restaurant to go to so we ventured to the nearby Elks club.
