Great breakfast location was easy to find as we have stayed there every year that we traveled every Sept. The new owner was very nice and met everything we needed except extra pillows for my leg surgery. Will come back if the price is right

What u didn't like us I booked a room by the pool. So we could go swimming. By and behold when we arrived we got out swim suits on and pool was closed due to being cleaned. They should clean the pool after they close at 10 pm. We didn't go swimming and was very disappointed very disappointed. We booked a room to go relax in the pool was not happy.

This is the second time we stayed at this property. I like that there is a nice breakfast and lots of vending machines, a good sized pool, our room was large and had lots of seating, and the place is very quiet. Close to the Waterfront which is great since we go see a lot of concerts there. Fairly close to restaurants and shopping. Staff is very friendly.

The sink in our bathroom seemed to be draining a bit slowly. There was no coffee maker in our room however there were 2 packs of decaf coffee lol. The pool could have been warmer but I was happy to swim regardless.

The hotel was very good especially the quality for money paid. The free breakfast was much better than we assumed. There were waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon in the 'warm' section and then yogurts, cereals, bagels , muffins etc. Of course the usual coffee and juices. There were a number of tables for seating too which was unexpected. The pool was lovely. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and welcoming. We had an excellent get away for two nights stay thanks to the hotel.

The parking lot which is shared by The Ground Round restaurant ( which was not open ) had a few potholes but I think it is the responsibility of the restaurant so , because it obviously has not been open, and not the hotel's fault.

Excellent Service. I have mobility issues and at around 1:30 AM I fell to the floor and was unable to get myself up again and my husband was unable to help me by himself so he went to the front desk to see if someone could help and there he came back with 2 male employees, wish I would of gotten their names because the 2 of them were able to lift me up from the floor without making me feel like I was a bother. These 2 guys deserve a huge thank you... Would like to make sure that they get recognized for their kindness. We need more people like the 2 of you in this world.

Only thing I would change (and it is not a huge deal) would be to get better pillows as ones we had were small and not very fluffy. Other than that Everything met my expectations and were even my expectations.

Nothing serious. We heard this mangement,had recently taken over. So, there are always things to do. Holes in the walls, from previous fixtures. The shower head is loose, when trying to adjust it. We were in room #132.

I stayed here because I had to take an early morning flight from Bangor airport. The hotel is conveniently located 6 minutes by car from Bangor airport. Good breakfast and comfortable rooms, with all amenities neatly provided. They have a small gym and a pool for a quick workout. The manager is a fantastic person who is ready to assist in every situation. She made my stay memorable.

Noise from other rooms could filter in. So, if sensitive to noise, you better carry earplugs. Some staff at the reception were a bit unpleasant but nothing much.

The location was great. Near gas, coffee, restaurants, and a short drive to the concert site which is why we were in Bangor. This is the quietest place i have ever stayed!! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The pool was an excellent addition and there are lots of vending machines. The staff was just top notch! Tons of parking on site.

My only complaint is there is only one entrance to get into the property. Multiple exits but one entrance. Can make for a lot of extra walking if you want to go out for a smoke.

The breakfast is awesome very friendly and helpful staff who seem to love their job!! I stayed here before and when my friend and I left in the morning my friend left his money clip on the front counter. we drove about 4 hours before he realized it was missing so we stopped and searched for it. He finally phoned the hotel and described the cash clip and it was found by a staff member and over 2000. in cash was returned to him. This is the kind of people I want to stay with, end of story.

I think this is the best value hotel I ever stayed at.

Staff was great, bed was very comfortable, ac was a blessing. Room, Lobby and halls were clean and comfortable a well. Breakfast was standard, eggs, sausages, cereal, pastries. All tasted good.

Place was in need of repairs, out dated. Clearly being well cleaned, but could have used some paint and spackle, the metal on the dropped ceilings was rusted in places and the hallway rug was starting to fray her and there. Just old. No elevator, but it was only 2 floors, so not a deal breaker.

They had a great variety of food to choose from. The lady ensured the area was always neat and clean and coffee and tea etc was always refilled.

Your options for answers of the bonus question on why you traveled ....... you need to add shopping and entertainment. Lol.. seriously.
